@@sheikaamor4489 never did, they said it wasn’t compatible with my modem even though my modem is verified to work with xfinity it doesn’t work with the flex device.

Hey, when I turn on my tv, it doesn’t go to the main screen, Xfinity 1 settings. It goes directly to the home setting’s on my Sharp Roku and then tv. How do you set it up as a default to open to xfinity 1 instead of home when you turn on the tv? Would appreciate if you can reply. Thanks!

My Xfinity box has a connection for ethernet connection. The tv I want to use the box for is an LG that's about 10 years-old, and a long distance from my router which is upstairs. Will the Xfinity Flex Streaming TV Box still work?

Does the version of the flex box you used in this tutorial have a power indicator light? Nothing on mine and my tvs do not recognize it.

can you or someone help: @7:28, when you say you need to select your wireless router and enter your password information, what do you mean 'select your router' and do you mean wifi password?

Mine is stuck on the first loading page where three dots appear and yours quickly went to verifying your information, or did yoi skip the wait for that part?

You didn't mention whether or not the Xfinity Flex box has an ethernet port for those who want a wired connection.

Do you do voice overs for cartoons?

I set it up and it asked me what language to select and then it asked me if I wanted to keep using voice guidance and I selected no and there was no loading screen pop up my TV just went black there is nothing showing on my TV rn idk what to do.

@@laneesha1000 after that day of trying to set it up and it wouldn't I gave up and tried it the next day and it for some reason worked, but the remote still won't connect to the power and volume buttons so I just have to get up and turn my TV on and use the volume buttons on the side of my TV until I get my TV a remote. It's a pain in the ass but whatever at least it's working now. 😄

Will this work off of an internet connection that’s NOT Xfinity?

comcast told me i can get faster internet with this plan/product but i dont see what it does other than connects to a tv and lets you stream. It's getting internet from my existing router/modem, how can that damn box possibly boost my internet bandwidth and speed. I had no idea what they were sending me but now it makes more sense. they are just trying to appease to internet only customers. what does this box have to do with faster internet?

Shame, I would like to use this, but when I get to the part where you would see the apps, it just shows a black screen

Hello Todd, would like to know once you selec the Xfinity App, what does it have on it or where does it take you?

It isn't working with my HDMI switch. I had it plugged into port 2. My HDMI switch got stuck on port 4, and wouldn't turn off or switch to another device. I had to unplug my HDMI switch to fix it.

Comcast is telling me that they charge $8.50 per month. I thought it was free as I was already paying for a main box for my main TV and pay for Comcast Internet. So I got this box and went through the steps but it told me to call a number in which I did when I was told by Comcast that its not free but a charge per month. Is this correct or not ?

flex is free to those customer who use Xfinity internet, there is no additional cost, just a heads-up you are not eligible for a flex if you already have a TV box or cable

super late response but it's only a monthly fee if you already have a flex box. you can't get flex if you already have x1 service (cable tv)

Mine looks different, just got it today. It does NOT have the apps to Disney+ or Discovery+. It also will not allow me use Peacock Premium when it’s free if you’re a customer. Any help would be appreciated. Customer service isn’t great with this company. Thanks.

The volume isn’t working for set up

I wish mine was that easy. Part of the text that shows up on my tv is off the side of the screen and not viewable. Also when I go to put in my password there are only all caps to chose from. The password they gave me is lowercase. So naturally it did not accept the password. I spent 3 hours today accomplishing nothing.
