    Interesting build, all the "bow" saws I've seen and have, the handle is the frame. The blade is held in by holding nuts not a handle. Great video :)

    That is a pretty saw! I'm in the teeth pointed away group, I find it easier to control the blade and I seem to have better result when I can put a little weight into it. I never really knew which way was proper. Thanks for the share, very interesting.

    Is there anywhere in particular to find blades that don’t have pins on the ends? I’ve been needing a thin turning saw blade longer than the usual coping saw length and can be threaded through a slit for stuff like roubo bookshelves and uzbek lavhs. Finding 3/16 wide bandsaw blades nearby is taking a bit more effort than expected.

    Just buy some bandsaw blades and cut to the desired length, you can then drill the holes or add some pins using regular wire nails trimmed down
