Hi. I have a DP80UL-01. It is working well with USB. But I would like to print using my mobile device. Can I configure it for ethernet using Mac? Would you be able to assist with this? I have struggled to do so. Thanks.

Yes you can! Connect the thermal printer with wifi router and your ipad should be connected with that router as well, second it depends on Your POS app also. I saw in one restaurant here, they were using thermal printers with Ipad.

Hey brother. Thanks for this tutorial. It helped me out. I do a have a question tho - when changing the IPv4 settings, why did you set the IP to 88 instead of 87 as it is of the printer? Can you clarify that? That's all. I could blindly follow the Tut, but i wanted to understand the process for future references.

87 is the printer, 88 is the computer

to avoid IP Address conflict. both devices can't communicate (PING test will fail) if they had the same IP Address.

Make sure with usb data cable you have to select usb port at the time of printer setup. only that way you can print using USB Cable.

Printing from many PC can send some prints in loop-not to be printed. How you solve this issue wuthout print server?

Did you getting the internet net when the printer is connected

I install the Star TPS100 thermal printer on the network I install it on a computer on the network and it works normally, when I try to install it on another computer, when I search the network it goes offline. If I try to install it via an app on my Android smartphone with the Star app, when I search for it on the network, it goes offline. Could you help me with the solution? Thanks

So if my printer is connected to a POE switch. Then what extra steps do i need to follow? Because after connecting the printer to the switch and using that IP, whenever I am pinging it, it says request timed out That POE is first connected to a jio router to that all my cameras are also online. DHCP is somehow disabled in it @Bilalkhalid
