In Display screen, go down to "multiple displays", click the down arrow in the box and select "extend these displays". You can also select which monitor you want as your main display below that.

I had trouble moving different things like discord and steam to other monitors, I figured out if you just hold the top bar and quickly drag to the other one it doesn't get stuck, but this was massive help.

I figured it out, turn on your laptop and open device manager. Then go to display adapters. Right click intel(r) uhd. And you should be good. Just remember when you get done playing the game to enable it again🤜🤛

Can you use two HMDI cords for 2 monitors? Well if your PC supports that or do you just get a like AVI HMDI Adapter.

same here...not babble on....how do I conect 2 monitors...so I can game on 1, and watch twitch on the other...? do they all need to be connected the same way...what if 1 is connected HDMI and 1 Dvi? this video was ....look how kewl I am 3 monitors...lol

Cmon guys its not that hard! Just check your graphics cards! Depending on the card youll have hdmi dvi ports usually up to 4 or 2 depending on the card Your pc will automatically know theres more than one display No crazy cords needed just hdmis for tv/pc monitors Doesnt matter which port u connect it to as long as it matches hdmi or dvi

I havent watched the video yet but, can you use multiple display ports for monitors or does the secondary monitor have to be a hdmi connection.

What about setting up the audio for a dual monitor system? Both of my monitors are HP Bang & Olufsen with built in speakers. I would like to be able to have the sound come through BOTH monitors at the same time when I watch KZread or listen to music. So far everything I have tried forces the sound out of one monitor or the other, not both simultaneously. Thanks for the help!

Can you etend the extend the screens for example stretch one screen over 2 Monitors like a sreadsheet?

1) Your main screen can be any of the numbers. 2) You only need an adapter if your graphics card doesnt support the same cable your monitor does. for example my graphics card only supports HDMI so I need an HDMI monitor, but if my monitor is display port only then I can get an adaptor that is hdmi to display port that way it works. 3) There is no specific camera you need to use to gaming. You dont even need a camera unless you are planning on face cam streaming. Most pro cameras are roughly 500-1000 USD but if you just need something basic then webcams are sold for 20-60 USD. Go to your local bestbuy or target or walmart or whatever you have that sells tech and ask about webcams. I'd recommend best buy as they are more focused on tech and sell all different types of tech parts.

Hi would like to find my monitor has two hdmi ports plus a vga port plus a port for ps5(eg) my question is can split two screens with one connected to the gpu and the other connected to my main screen which has the multi ports on it ( my screen is a aoc gaming 27G2SP FHD screen)

Everything is so unique to the person's hardware. The video card output ports, the native resolutions on each screen, the resolutions the video card is capable of displaying. You're dealing with HDMI, DP, VGA cables, etc. You need to start with your video card make the rest compatible.

How about if one monitor let say my main monitor that I use the most has a refresh rate of 144mHZ and the second monitor I wan to add is say 70Mhz. Would I lose the Mhz refresh rate that is high on my main monitor? I want to keep the high refresh rate of my main. The second monitor is just for adding programs that don't need the high refresh. So, my question is, would I lose that high refresh option on my main monitor due to the second being lower refresh?

I have the ivms-4200 and I have dual monitor main view is on primary showing certain areas but I can't seem to get the secondary monitor to pull up the ivms-4200

you need to have both monitors connected to the same thing not one connected to the motherboard and one connected to your graphics card they both have to be in the same one for it to work

Hello, I tried to connect 2 monitors to my Samsung Laptop running Window 10 (Home Edition) but I couldn't get 3 extended sreens; i.e. I only have 1/3 on the laptop top and on monitor A and 2 on monitor B. Is it more the limitation on the source laptop and how I could find out whether the laptop can support more then 2 monitor or it is something to do with it's firmware? Or it is something to do with the Window 10 (Home Edition) limitation. I tried the display setting and it can only detect 1/3 and 2 displays. The two monitors all have VGA and HDMI input. I'm using a USB-C hub with two HDMI connections. Any idea?

I'm working a new job that recommends dual monitors. I bought a used computer monitor with vga connection + bought vga - hdmi adapter. I need to connect it to my lenovo AIO 520 Ideacentre desktop with hdmi port only. Will this work?

dumb question. My gpu only has one hdmi port. I used a splitter for my two monitors. Now my desktop only recognizes them as one monitor and I can no longer split my projects on the 2 screens. is there a setting fix or something else I can do to get it back to my other work layout??

If you plug one into your main board it wouldnt work at least in my case

When wen I do this and on the second screen I open up something it opens it up on the main screen

Setup extended mode. Press Windows key + P to open the project menu. Choose "Extend". This will allow you to have 2 independent screens. If you need to change the screen layout, you can do that in Settings>Display.
