Hi sir, When working with this camera can we program it in python without out the viewer and SDK or is it necessary, Can we perform live image processing in this camera using Python alone? Is the USB only for power or does it send data also? What about API?

Sir what are the supporting software from where I could get the distance coordinates? The Intel realsence viewer does not provide any depth coordinates.

Your video was so helpful. The website says that the software is available for Android 8. It is available through the RS app on the google play store. I have an Android tablet and have the necessary adaptor to make it work. I have successfully downloaded the RS app. The device recognizes that the "Intel d415 " is plugged in but will not activate it. Do you know how I could get this to work? Thanks.

7:15 - ASIC temperature is CPU temperature Projector temperature is the temperature of the LASER module, directly proportional to the LASER module input wattage. It’s not the temperature at real-sense is projecting on the subject. Real-sense cannot project temperature on any subject.

I bought a d415 without the extra sensor for $150, with addedsensor it's about $1000 . They're very much in development as a developer tool and not quite ready for mass market, go into it expecting bugs and needing to code. It's still an incredible device, be sure to check model options carefully.
