I really need help I had himachi installed and everything worked perfectly but then I uninstalled it then 2 months later I installed it again and the server has a green light by it like normal but my actual computer himachi says it’s offline how do I get himachi to recognize my computer again?

try to create a new group or account. also remember to update the ip on the server

i added the mods through notepad++ but when i started the server, the mods weren't there and just the default server settings

It’s very specific unfortunately, I would recommend trying to use the in-game setup for it. You have to add both the mods and workshop ID’s as well as having it formatted correctly.

Glad I was able to help you out man! Apologies for the late reply, if you haven’t figured it out yet the command to set yourself as admin is; SetAccessLevel admin (don’t put the angle brackets around username). As far as AFK kicking the only thing I can imagine would be somewhere in the settings file. I’ll browse around, let me know if you can’t figure that out and I’ll get back with you.

Were you able to get logged in to the steam servers successfully? My other recommendation would be running steamcmd as admin.

It's telling me " Error occurred during initialization of VM Initial heap size set to a larger than maximum heap size Server>pause " What is the problem?

idk why but I can't find the pjz file after runing the steam.exe file I ran the app_update command and after a long while it finished and then I went to check for the file but couldn't find it anywhere

u should look in your folder with original project zomboid's files, i found mine server.bat there

It’s the same thing, just using Hamachi to connect with your friends since you can’t port forward.

I have pjz cracked, and when i tried to join the server it says something about im playing a non steam version of the game, and i can only join a non steam server. Can i do something in the server setting to make it "non steam"?

There actually might be a setting to let non-steam players join in server settings file, if not you may just have to use the built in server host.

The most simple solution for non steam players is to start the server with startserver64_nosteam.bat. I said that in case someone in the comments is in my situation too.

Typically in the root directory where the SteamCMD/folder was. So for example if you’re in example/steamcmd, the server file will be generated in example, not steamcmd. Try to view that as a file path, if that makes sense.

As far as on the group within hamachi? or on the game? I’m not sure, but I would imagine there’s a way through Hamachi and I believe project zomboid does have some sort of permission system.

you may be able to find different server versions online, but not through Steam CMD as far as I know.

are you trying to connect with hamachi ip? if so, don’t and just try using localhost as your IP

Sounds like you may need to up your RAM or have tried to import a world without the required mods, worlds, or mods/worlds list being provided for it.

The guy that Made the video ignore step 1, you need to type some s first to create de folder, look for it in the guide, the link is below the video

On that folder, It would be in the steamapps/common, but don't fret, this doesn't work anyways since it is always stuck in gathering server info

@@kbdaliesofempez yes i did thgat and the problem was that i opened a steam server thingy but i have a new problem with it me and my friend has been playting all week on the server and it worked but now all of a sudden it doestn want to work we checked is he was connected to the hamchi/radminvpn thing and he is all the imforamtion is correctly put in but it keeps on saying connection failed.

i wanted original pz, but i dont have money to buy it :(

my friend got a fail to connect (we are playing on cracked)

Yes, it’s supposed to be an easier way but you could just be subscribed to the mods and use the in-game menu to add them to your server configuration.

I was referring to the in-game configuration menu. I go through it at the end of the video if it's easier to watch, but anyways you would be able to add mods one-by-one to your game configuration. You would then be able to find this game config under documents/my games/pjz and move it to your server.

I wouldn't see why not, it's local gameplay essentially. I definitely recommend buying the game when you can though, always good practice to support the devs if you enjoy something they made.
