In this video we teach you how to set up the Ring Stick Up Cam Battery Powered version. There is both a battery powered and hardwired version of the Ring Stick up cam, but an advantage of the battery powered Ring Stick up cam is that it gives you to the option to use it as either a battery powered wifi camera or you can plug it into a power adapter and the battery will always stay charged and won't need to be removed for recharging.
The Ring Stick up Cam (Battery) is a wifi smart camera that with automatically start recording when motion is detected. Once motion is detected the camera will record and then store the footage in the cloud when motion is detected if you pay for the Ring video storage subscription. Without the subscription you can still view live footage from the camera but it will not be stored in the cloud.
The Ring Stick Up Cam has 1080 HD video footage and can alert you when motion is detected on your phone or be automatically set to record footage when you have a Ring video storage subscription plan.

We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version kzread.infoUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.

Okay, I have this and it's the plug in one. It's been working great for a while, I plug and unplug when I'm home. Here lately I'll plug it in, leave the house and it is showing off line? I reconnected the WiFi, working great! Plug the camera in this morning and was fine, I leave and it's showing off line? HELP PLEASE!
But how do I connect this camera to a power cable ? Where is the USB C connection ?
Is it a known app glitch that the 'portrait v landscape' views does not always work? I would say this feature works only 60% of the time for me on a Galaxy modernish phone?

Mine will not connect to my Wi-Fi. Turned off router waited then back on. Won’t work 😕

Couple things to try. 1. Remove the battery and try fully charging it up. Sometimes the batteries aren't charged when the device ships. 2. Try connecting the device to the 2.4GHZ wifi network on your router. Sometimes it has issues getting connected to the 5GHZ networks. 3. Remove the battery, try turning it on then wait 10 minutes before you connect it. 4. Factory reset the device.

Before I have to enter the wifi password when it says "connecting to the stick up cam..." i get stuck in that screen and it wont connect. Did everything the app told me to do. Any Ideas?
