Just bought the Ring Stick Up Camera and your video helped a lot to understand the steps to take. Thank you.

Thanks for this, good effort. A few points: 1) it's rawl plug, not wall plug 2) you should never mount anything into the mortar between bricks, a child could rip it out - has to go into the brick 3) I couldn't obviously see whether, after wall mounting, there is a part to properly seal off the bottom part of the cam (i.e. the end the battery slides into - hopefully that is possible as I'll be mounting mine tomorrow! So far I only have one of the 5 up. kzread.infoUgkxOXxsTZ3ptV_Pk0fFl8bNZvVqeoqBQFwe My son ran out of time, with motion detector etc. I have it over my garage door. It works great. Have seen a couple of cats, my dogs, when I am out front. And had a bee buzzing around right in front of it. It works very well. It even shows the neighbour's driveway, but only shows movement just past my own, which is very long. I highly recommend them.

Good video, especially with the side mount instructions. Probably noted in other comments but it is NOT possible to use solar with this model. You are limited to removing and charging or exchanging the battery with a charged spare.

Did you get the solar panel option to work with the ring stick up camera? I am going to get a ring solar panel for my new ring , 2nd generation door bell. Solar Panel (5Vdc, 380mA/480mA/800mA). And , i am going to get the new Ring Chime Pro as it can boost the WiFi signal etc. Thanks.

Those screws you used are probably better than those it came with. They look bigger and thicker.

Many thanks for the video. Quick question: I've just bought a second camera. How do I add the second camera to the system that I've previously set up for the first camera? Do I use the Ring app that I've already set up?So I have to set up the second camera before I go onto the app to link it up with the first camera? Hope this all makes sense. Thank you

Just add to the ring app I’m not to sure how many you can have but I’ve got 2 on mine atm 🙌

I nearly done the same with the screws lost them then found them 😂

No matter how I push down, that gray piece will not pop off so that can mount the piece to the ceiling…any suggestions of what to do. I’ve watched how you did it…many times. Is there a certain place to push down on?

Hows the wifi signal on it? Whats the rssi like, i have a medium size house ane my ring doorbell is saying low rssi and i need to move my router (a lot of walls in the way not that far) the stickup cam will be further away if i get it so i need to know if its okay

Now it’s on the solar power plug in I just leave it up But normally 6 to 10 weeks I reckon 👍 depends on your notifications

Hi Hayden , my husband has just set up the stick up camera today in the kitchen along with the doorbell camera , the doorbell works fine but the kitchen camera won’t record videos or photos only voice recordings , it only shows a blank recording but with voice , where have we gone wrong please ;

No , ( DONT KNOW WHAT THE CONNECTION CALLED)... smaller USB for the door bell.! And a smaller USB for removable battery for the stick up camera. Solar panel has a pin power connection. £ 49 from B+Q.

Well if anybody can tell me how long a full charge will last before you’ll have to recharge, I’d really appreciate it, as I’m placing a camera in a tree on the curb facing my house hoping the charge will last at least a week. ?
