HOW TO SET UP ELECRAFT K4 RX AND TX EQ / SETTING UP K4 RX & TX EQ
Knowing how to set up Elecraft K4 RX & TX EQ will take your audio to hte next level. This video will show how to go about accessing the EQ's with a few tips on settings.
When setting up Elecraft K4 RX & TX EQ it is often better to cut the opposite of what you want to raise. If you want more highs, you can try cutting or rolling off some of the lows. The 2400 Hz range wil deliver the most clarity.
Anything below 200Hz will have a rumbling sound, and around 900Hz has a nasel sound. Everybody's voice is different, so you will need to experiment a little.

Im thinking of getting the k4f , I currently have the ftdx10mp,would there be a big difference between these? One thing I like is it looks like the k4f will be upgradable for future stuff. Any thoughts thanks Tom

Tom, The K4 is an incredible radio, especially for CW. Unfortunately, mine is back at Elecraft for the second time in 8 months. At an additional cost of 480 dollars for shipping. The HDMI port stopped working twice. Join the groups.io group for K4 owners and watch the posts for a while, many other issues. groups.io/g/Elecraft-K4

@@HamShackReviews I currently have the ftdx101mp and also have the KPA500 and KAT500 and was thinking of going all elecraft. I do not do any cw as of yet, but maybe this winter.
