(Unrelated and you probably know this.a reminder watch your tools.. My uncle is a self employed bricklayer and they stole all the expensive equipment out of his van - you never know they might be going around all of Britain targeting vans!!)
When i first started bricklaying in college i didnt see an interest, been watching your channel and gradually been getting better. I think i could have a career in bricklaying now
How to set that iron pole then..
But is it level?
Two hitches? I call em knots!
hi stu can you do a video on DPM and DPC im new to bricklaying just confused about the overlaping and stuff, you do great vids
what is the name of this tool
Hi Stuart what's the max you would run a string line without a tingle. Cheers
how do you check if the string is level?
Tight like a tiger 😂👍👍👍
Cheers Stu. Really useful stuff in simple to understand bite size chunks. Keep on keeping on.
It’s the little things like this that add to the overall end job, you assume being in the trade that most people know these “simple” things and you don’t want to come across as patronising by telling people about them but they do help. 👍
Wow that was very smart. I live in Sweden . Here in scandinavia we use different equipment and we get the job done. I am a bricklayer myself but i was wondering how to use vertical string lines with a weight and such. There are so many ways to do it. That dory pole riser was so cool. Way better than raising it manually and eventually break the string.
Lovely job of teaching these skills. Thanks so much!
im starting my apprenticeship soon iv got a few of these corner blocks never used them yet now know how till put them on tight cheers Stu.
awesome stu. watching videos again i can see you have come so far from wen i first started following you
