I have watched a million of these bricklaying videos by Stu and others....and i agree....very statisfying
Great video; instructional, to the point and no messing about with foolish faces, 'Hi guys, it's me me me' and best of all - NO annoying music. Thanks.

I removed an old chimney and needed to fill up the gap. Decided to use bricks instead of plywood/ plasterboard. I wasn't really sure how to start, but after seeing your video's, I felt confident I could do it too. It was a rocky start, but I kept your video playing together. I found out you can only mount 1 meter a day to give the mortar the time to dry. I also integrated some anchors to the cavity wall behind. I can say I am proud on the result. Thanks for the great videos! I hope your students can appreciate how great a teacher you are.
Too funny cussing at the beeping car! Very good instruction! Im getting ready to extend and raise an existing brick wall three feet
56 years of age and my 1st bricklaying lesson tonight at college. Watched this 4 times today :) Great explanation. Thanks

@@grassrootsfc5952 ok thanks. Found the blocks more difficult to lay. Also did carpentry, plumbing and tiling to get my diy skills up so was able to do some jobs at home through the summer 👍🏻
Videos like this really help you appreciate the skill of 'average ' tradies.
Thanks very much. I'm 75 and want to learn to play with bricks. Best instructional video I have watched.
Great video! So much detail. Just right for a perfectionist DIYer! I'm getting ready to fix up the edging on a garden bed and looking forward to trying out these new skills. Thanks!
As a female fed up of cow boy builders....you are teaching me loads of DIY tips. Thank you 😊
Absolutely gorgeous! I helped my grandfather lay a brick patio when I was very young. He was a Master. Leveled the whole thing so the water would gently run off into the lawn. 😊
Loved that you kept 9:49 in there 😆👍

Excellent tutorial, thanks! I appreciated how you started slow and went faster as you got toward the end to see what this job looks like at normal speed.
Stu your work and videos are very much appreciated. Your presentation is very well put together and beneficial for anyone who wants to learn this trade. Top Man 👊🏼
Thanks Mr Crompton for yet another wonderful lesson on how to make something I know is very difficult, appear so easy. You've just shown exactly how to talk to people as opposed to how to talk down to them and thus help them ( and me) to learn things just a little quicker. I'm sure your patience and good manners wil be rewarded one day!
As a bricky this is the kind of content people need to be watching not the trash kids watch now a day's. Great work Stu 👍

I've been a hoddy for 8 years, finally im getting on the trowel, the brickies I'm woking with are pushed to be quick and don't really have the time to help me out (some have been really helpful) I've just watched two of your tutorials on this snowy day and already feel like I've learned a tonne. Thanks for that! cant wait to implement my learning at work.
Best tutorial I've found, thank you. I can see how bricklaying would be a perfect combination of skill, repetition, and patience.
