It depends on the application. For 1-2 turrets yes, for 3 turrets no. Splitters have an issue of power loss in the 3 way split at certain input integers, it always rounds down. 31 power to a splitter is better than 33 power to 3 e branches(34 to splitter if you want to have a passthru> blocker>smart alarm turret break detection system), but if you wanted to set up a single turret, a splitter is probably a bad idea. Personally I heavily use splitters. Theyre just bigger, harder to place, and a little more finicky to use when you're altering your system. Play modded with test gens? Put the 3 test gen outputs on 2 root combiners and combine them into 1, trust me.then e branch out 96 power into a 4 splitter tree for 9 outputs of 10.another shortcoming of splitters shows up if you have power issues. E branches will fail from the end of the line one at a time as power shorts. The whole splitter tree system will go down if it drops below the necessary input amount
I’m subbing
What about setting up multiple

@ativvafoxx5617 but the power fluctuates from like 80/130
Wrong u using too much power
All that work just to be wiped in a week or less arks better
Branches takes less power then splitters???

Nice video, but splitters would use the same draw (1rW). Splitters also have the benefit of allowing up to three turrets per splitters at the cost of 1rW instead of 3rW that you would use when using branches.

Yes I know, this video is a KZread short and I didn't have time to explain branches in less than 60 seconds.
