This is by far the best video for setting up. One thing you went over so fast with no explanation was, setting the cock vane. No other video even touches on this. I have searched so many and still don't have that setting correct. Please help! Thank you!

Finally, after watching so much crap, a video that explains how these jigs work! Shame on the manufacturers for not providing instructions.

Super useful video, very many thanks, my jig was a little out which was ok for carbon shafts when I could rotate the nock, I have just started to venture into wooden arrows and the nock is glued prior (as you know) so I was a tad perplexed so many thanks 👌

Super helpful video! I love the idea of taking out one of the set screws. After that and a little lubrication this inexpensive fletching tool is working great. Thank you!

Great vid, (seeing as Cartel provide no instructions!) 🤬 Question: with the adjustable plate on the back, could you alter the angle slightly to provide a helical effect on the fletching? Or would you need the twisted clamp to achieve that?

Hi Danny. Glad you like the video (I've got some more in the pipeline including how to set up a pressure button). The clamping plate can be set at an angle as you suggest, but sadly that'll just give you an offset. Good news is that Cartel do sell a helical clamp (Right Wing or Left Wing) and it's not crazy expensive... I don't recommend any particular shop, but if you're in the UK, I've spotted that Merlin have them in stock (www.merlinarchery.co.uk/cartel-midas-mx-clamp.html).

@@planet0philip thanks Phillip, I wonder if the Midas Mx fits the original jig? They look the same on the pics so I’ll order the helical clamp from Merlin and see! 👍🏼
