I real appreciate you made this video. I have an issue where my garage door wouldn’t fully close. But after watching your video, I was able to correct the issue and now the door is fully functional.

I just want to thank you for posting this video! My chain had come off the spokes and I unplugged it and got it back on track. I tightened the chain, and didn't understand why it would raise up about 8" then go back down, then up again 8". I trouble-shot every thing the KZread garage door community told me to. And to no avail, it wouldnt work. I searched Genie model 7155D, and it brought me to a video on how to program a totally different model. And once i had completely given up, your video was up next. I could tell right away from the thumbnail that this was the droid i was looking for! I followed along with the video, and bam! Problem solved! No nagging wife forcing me to embarrass myself by calling out a professional (who would no doubt charge an expensive service fee to fix something so unbelievably easy), to make me look like a useless idiot. But, no! Thanks to your incredible and easy to follow video, i feel like a friggin' Stud. I am all that is man!

Finally I video that explains it

I have a problem with my own garage opener, so I was trying to program a new remote that I bought from Amazon and it didn't work. Seems like it's not compatible with the genie garage opener. After that I gave up and now my wall button and my previously programmed remote are not working. I have tried pretty much everything even changing the circuit board and wall button. When i press the wall button or remote the opener just clicks. Do you know what could be the problem? Thank you

Followed your steps, after finishing setting the limits I can open the door but when I hit the bottom to close it it doesn’t do it and show me a flashing red light. Any help please?

Are both your sensors ok? One solid red and one solid green?

now the safty when going down is not working so if someone is underneath or car it just goes down but wont stop and go back up

The sensors are both on? When it’s going up does it go back down if you get in the way of the sensors ?

There’s power at the outlet? If so it’s likely a logic board issue

Press the program square for about 3 seconds then press the remotes

Sometimes you have to set either the down or the up first. You can also carry on and ignore the red after setting the first setting and it should be green after setting the next one
