When you turn it backwards it activates the starter and the crank where if you turn it the other way it just turns your crank. Either way is fine and turning the opposite way is a good way to check for starter issues and cog alignment

what is the timing chain marks on 350cc feishen atv

if the engine is seized, it could be a number of problems. something could be internally wrong with the kickstart gear, could have bad crankshaft berrings, piston could be screwd, like you said timing chain could be stuck in the bottom end, valves could be adjusted wayy too much, valves could be bent(would still kick but would be very hard to) camshaft could be screwd with too.

Tdc is after the intake valves close before the exhaust opens

Question: what year is this bike i only seem to see 2 holes to line up on my cam shaft unless i missed one want to get my timing right before i put all the parts back together. I have a 2001 raptor

it would be on the side of the timing chain usually on the back side of the head around Bolt with two little boats on the side

I have a Kazuma 150 atv it gets fire an gas what else can i check cause it wont start

compression, fuel sample, clean carb, use starting fluid

it will kick, but not start. if the timing chain is broken, you are not allowing the valves to move which not allowing fuel, or exhaust to enter/exit cumbustion chamber. therefore not allowing it to start.

also could have a stuck valve that would also keep it from starting and it wouldnt have compression

lmao information is right just not fully explained you need to be on the compression stroke to set the timing, id say if you dont know that you should done a little more research before you tried to do it
