Our girls love to sew. Last year they made each neighbor a handmade ornament. We made homemade fudge for family and friends. Thoughtful gifts but budget friendly.
A fun idea is an envelope for each month with an activity, like a Grandparent activity, which is an experience and spread throughout the year. Things like dinner & game night, picnic at the park, local community festivities, fall color drive, carving pumpkins & chili, beach day, nature walk & lunch, breakfast at the beach, museum visits, etc.
We can barely afford basic needs. We won't be able to do Christmas this year.

Hey there, could you share the bracelet making kit for girls?
I used to do a thing, when Xmas was “over” just before everyone was leaving I would tell everyone, “alright guys, now you have until February to have a list of what you would like for Xmas next year”. Haha. We are only doing Xmas this year cause it’s our 3 month old sons (at time of writing this, he will be older come Xmas), 1st Xmas so we will throw it and then next year we are away. Living in Australia, it will be a hot summer Xmas, I prefer not to take all my kids out over Xmas. 😊 Another DIY that someone with kids can do is, buy a heap of canvas boards, buy a couple different colours of paint, and do the kids hand prints, gave the kids write their names and date it was done with a little message, if you have a baby/toddler, write it fit them. I’m also buying sone meat packs from my butcher for my mum. Money is what I’m giving older kids and a wrapped present.
I don't know who needs to hear this but "you don't need to buy a gift for every Tom, Dick and Harry in your life". Your welcome 🤗
