How to service your Mahindra XUV 500 W8 FWD at home
HINDI AUDIO DETAIL
MAHINDRA XUV 5OO Full Service.
1, Collect all the material listed at starting of video.
2, Jack up the car. Note that it should be straight leveled.
3, Remove Stone guard below engine by unscrewing 10mm bolts.
4, Locate drain plug 22mm bolt.
5, Locate container below drain plug.
6, Add Engine flush 200 ml.
7, Run engine ideally for 10 minutes.
8, Do not accelerate or move vehicle.
9, After 10 minutes, let engine cool down for 2-5 minuted.
10, Drain out old engine oil by loosening drain plug.
11, Loosen up Engine oil filter.
12, Open oil refilling cap so mas to drain old oil completely.
13, Let the old oil drain out completely.
14, Clean out place where engine oil filter was installed.
15, Install new engine oil filter with filter wrench.
16, Inspect drain point and close drain plug point.
17, Refill new Engine oil (Maximile FEO 6 lt).
18, Now remove battery so that you can easily access to Air filter.
19, Remove air filter sensor grip.
20, Remove flexible connection of filter.
21, Remove top cover of air filter with 7-8 Allen key bolts.
22, Take out old filter element made of different layers of sponge.
23, Inspect bottom case of air filter for cleaning.
24, Now its time to replace Fuel Filter Cartridge.
25, Unplug fuel filter sensor at bottom.
26, Loosen up fuel filter by inserting filter wrench.
25, Put some reservoir below filter to avoid any spillage of diesel.
26, Install new fuel filter.
27, Loosen 10 mm bolt on side of top assembly of fuel filter.
28, Pump the assembly to remove air from line.
29. Attach sensor at bottom.
30, After installing fuel filter, install new air filter element.
31, Assemble air filter in reverse direction as disassembled.
32, Coonect battery.
33, Clean all the surfaces.
34, Check engine oil level,
35, Check for any leaks.
36, Fix Stone guard at bottom of engine.
Now you are good to go

sir mere xuv 2015 sirf 27k km chali bha uski rpm thoda high rehta ha gear change krte hue jab clutch press kro to 1.5k tk increase hojaata ha aur cold start pehle 1-1.1k rpm rehta tha but ab 1.5k rpm tk jaata ha aur ideal 1k rpm rehta ha but pehle 700-800 rehta tha kya issue ho sakta ha . one more thing agr chalte chalte neutral krdo to 1k rpm rehta ha to jese hi neutral nein clutch press kro to wo fir normal ideal rpm pr aajata ha please reply asap.

First of all sorry for late reply. Thank you for such a nice comment. Bro these LEDs are available at indian local automobile part sales shop @ 30 Rs per piece. Gear oil replacement is on my upcoming video list. Right now I am out of country, once back I will do it immediately. Thank you

Bro, I guess k engine head me mobile oil atta hoga. Gaadi ka oil level bhi kam hota hoga. Aap kisi expert technician ko immediately check karwao. And one more thing, turbo ko bina wajah k mat khulwana.

Hey. A Very Informative video. I have a question 1) After how much km do you change your diesel filter? 2)At what interval do you replace your brake/clutch DOT4 fluid? 3) What's the grade of Mahindra Maximile Feo engine oil?

Thank you brother 1, At every service i.e after every 10k km I change mobil oil, diesel filter, engine oil filter and air filter. Diesel filter has paper membrane which needs replace with respect to time, so consider changing diesel filter at 10 k km or 6 momths whichever is earliest. 2, My car is May 2012 and I completely flushed out brake fluid after 7 years which was still in good condition. Clutch fluid change is recommended at leakage only. Believe me if you want to keep ur machine in good condition, keep on changing fluids and filters periodically even before the limit it becomes worst. 3, Brother you can check in video I have given complete details of engine/mobil oil used for my car. Thank you

Sir .. my car AC is not working and i feel there is a rat bite at the compressor wiring. Can u please help me locate the compressor in XUV 500 and how i can check if compresser wire is fine or not.

Hello bro..aap 1 year mei kitni baar service karate ho xuv ko..ik ki service interval xuv ka 10k kms to 20k kms hai but agar itna running nahi hai toh 1 year mei kitni baar servicing karani chaiyeh

Bhai hamari car 9 years purani hai and 75,000 kms chali hai bas, har baar timely service karwate hain. 😊😊 Bhai agar car kam chalti hai to depend krta hai oil konsa use lrte ho and oil can kholne k baad kitni life hoti hai. Acche oil k saath 1 year me 1 baar kr lena sahi hai.

Bhai first of all I would recommend you to get all of its service records check from authorized service centre. Its good if vehicle had got service from authorized service centre. If not you have to first get it checked by some experienced mechanic. They will better guide you. In market lot of good looking cars are available, but most of car’s Meter readings (ODOMETER) are changed. This my friend have faced while he was looking XUV for him. So be very aware. My friend bought used XUV in Punjab 2014 model 62000 Km run at 7,50,000 Rs. Car is very clean and scratch free. So see accordingly. Thank you.

10mint is not sufficient for oil flush. It has to work every part in head, oil chamber and oil lines. Need more time.
