Great video with two glaring exceptions. As others have already commented, jack stand placement did body damage, and always change the filter when changing the fluid, which in this case is the oil pan.

The plastic full length, plastic rocker panel moldings are damaged. Just focus on the video when stands are put in place and vehicle is lowered onto them. Also check when the vehicle is raised and the stands are removed, this shows the damage. DUH!@@themodernweediest4274

Hate to break it to all the ones concerned about about the jack stand and body placement, but there's where you do in fact place the jack, it's a unibody car, you have to put the jack on the pinch weld. That rear diff jacking point is bunk though, never jack up a car with independent rear suspension, solid axels are okay though.

There is no body damage guys!!! Challengers have a plastic skirt so what you are seeing is the plastic giving way to allow the stand to support the car on the pinch welds. The skirt is made to set lower so that your pinch welds are covered and cannot be seen.

I wondered the same: why drop the trans pan if they weren’t going to replace the filter (which on this transmission is integrated so replaced along with the pan.) It’s also good practice to loosen the fill plug first, so you don’t drain the fluid then realize “oh, the filler plug is stuck so I can’t add fluid.”

Most of these cars come with transmission fluid that is good for the “lifetime of the vehicle,” but usually they mean the lifetime of the warranty. You for sure should change your transmission fluid regularly, unless you’ve got about 150k+ miles on it, then just leave it alone.
