Hi Mr Primal thank you so much for this helpful video. Really enjoyed it! You articulate very well.
superb video Ronny Joseph Lvovski. I crushed that thumbs up on your video. Always keep up the quality work.
Thanks for sharing your great tips .what a neat kitchen .👏
Also, cooking in cast iron naturally blends in the iron into the food and is good for increasing the haemoglobin levels for everyone, especially-vegans and pure vegetarians that do not eat meat or fish.

Very informative. Any other alternatives to flax oil? I've heard Crisco is good?

Great question! I actually talk about this in the blog post (cookprimalgourmet.com/how-to-season-cast-iron). I personally like flax for initial seasonings because it forms a smooth and hard bond. Crisco is often recommended as well.

i’ve heard to always use animal shortening or lard
Try cooking an Indian style chicken recipe once with more ingredients.
Does it have to be flax oil
What if you've already improperly seasoned your cast iron? How do I get the gunk off?

Depending on the state it's in, you can probably get away with following all of the steps outlined in the video and on the blog post but try using a steel wool sponge to remove the built-on gunk.
Oh my God!!! Thanks to Tefal 😂

How often does a cast iron skillet need to be seasoned, do I need to do this every time I finish cooking.

no need to season i every time you use it....especially if you use it several times a week. Just remember to dry it completely, no need to se soap, just rinse with hot water and dry......that’s it.....they are a true time saver in the kitchen......good luck...

Cast iron wants to rust. Season it all over, including the handle, to keep it from rusting.

What foods can't be cooked in cast iron
@zachary8224

Aruna Tayi to be honest-nothing. maybe you shouldn’t cook with acidic foods like tomatoes too often, but cooking with them once won’t hurt the seasoning.
참고로 저걸로 총알은 막을수 없습니다...
Wait, so you gotta do all that every time you use it??😵

it's quite annoying frankly, if u don't care much about having a good seasoning than you can do this much less frequently but your food will stick and it will be harder to clean and cook some foods

but if you use your cast iron every day you'll get good at this and it will become very easy &fast I'm sure
