Put a cleat to rest cabinets on. Of course, take doors off. Level it, get a 1x2 that is perfectly level. Rent a laser level.

Seems so simple, but recommendations/suggestions on a 12" wall cabinet.where even my smallest drill wont fit? I have hung 4 15" cabinets nicely, then a 12" but i put a 1 7/8 spacer ip to the wall and split out the back of the spacer because I started my pilot hole on such an angle

Why not use a pilot bit with a countersink attached? It would make the job a lot simpler...

May I ask if my carpenter didn't really fixy 2 cabinet together and everything in the kitchen are done. What I could use to fill the gap in between? I hate it that ants could travel through it.

My question is if the face frames have a slite over hang on each side won't the cabinet require a shim at the back to level the sides, why doesn't' he mention this, seems this is just as important if not more so and how do you get that shim at the back lower side of the two cabinets.,why do all of these guys recommend an over hang on face frames in the first place.

@@ClumsyCars It only takes a few seconds to drill a countersink, it sucks when the project is almost done and you have to start over because it cracked the face frame. It's only happened to me once but that's one time too many.
