The best thing is practice test everey day practice 3 test a day 👍✅and study suffix and prefix

scored a 35, aiming to get a 60 or higher. the arithmetic is the one thing kicking my ass and I gotta check back with my recruiter to retake it soon. keep y’all updated, be back in a few weeks.

You got it ! Just run thru a lot of practice test to give your self a refresher once you start making 80% and above you should be ready The key is to remember the strategy of the test . Like what makes a this math problem a problem and out of these 4 choices what makes sense .

Scored a 36 on my APT. Didn’t study for the asvab at all. Now I have 2 weeks until my next APT and I’m using asvab for dummies and I’ll use the app you mentioned in this video. I’ll come back to update my results. I need a 70 to qualify for the jobs I want. Wish me luck!

Hey I didn’t forgot about y’all. So I’m taking my APT this week on Friday. Currently it’s Monday so I got some time to continue studying. I’ve been using the app (recommended in this video), plus asvab for dummies and grammar hero. Feeling pretty confident in just 1 week of studying. Ight, so I did worse. Scored a 28. To be honest I didn’t use the app much. I used asvab for dummies and grammar hero. I only studied for the math and didn’t study anything else. So I’m guessing that’s where I went wrong. I’m gonna study up everything and take another APT. Imma be serious this time around cuz this back and forth bs is getting annoying. Hey bro how many hours a day would you recommend to study? I work full time and I was ready to quit my job at the end of this month to focus full time on joining the Navy, especially on studying and retaking the ASVAB. My original plan was to work till this month, study in January, and test in February. I’m now finding time to study a bit; before work, during my 30 minute lunch break, and after work. Even on my 2 days off I’m studying more than before. I’m only just studying GS, MK, AR, WC, and PC since the jobs that I want require those sections. Right now I’m using the 20-21 ASVAB for Dummies book and the 20-21 ASVAB test app (resembles army logo).

You doing very good man !! You sound like you’ll be alright , one thing make sure you study what you don’t know . I promise you you will be brain fried after taking the test. I usually study before bed till I get tired or finish a section cause some reason it replays more in my head like when you think of something before you fall asleep and you end up dreaming about it and you actually remember it the next day more then anything

I took my ASVAB at my school for the coast guard and i got my scores back and the school thinks their wrong because it says i made a 2, but when I took the test i knew the test like most of it was common sense questions that there is no way i missed if any one has any suggestions please help me try to figure out what happened.

I took the asvab in HS this year I made a 7 2nd go around i pass the asvab practice test with a 57 I pretty much got lucky I went to the office take the legit test I made a 5 I was depressed 3rd now I studying the math part but i kinda in the between rather to just forget about it because I getting the same results

Your overall score has to be like 30 or 32 in the Air Force , it doesn’t matter for each section but each section will justify what you will specialize in for your job

No I scored low close to the minimum so I had to re test to give my self a better opportunity at a better job . What I did tho was focus on strengthening my lowest score subjects which over all boosted my combined score

Give your self as much time as needed because you want that job you want you’ll regret not giving it more time , same with me I haven’t been to school in 2 years so the math was pretty tough but I got thru with the App breaking down everything to me , make sure you write down the math part and try it out as if you are taking the test because you will not have a calculator

Focus on the math more then anything and find little tricks to finding the answer without really having to solve it and if you suck at multiplication like I do don’t be ashamed to count out every number on your strap paper

Do feel down about it. Keep studying and improve each time. I took the asvab three times already and the first two times I scored a 15 by click on things and not taking my time and the third time I scored a 25 by studying a little bit. I’m going to try and test again in March and actually take my time and read the question versus me click and rushing through
