Expose them. Tell them you know exactly what they are and use the terminology with examples of their behavior. You’ll never hear from them again. That’s been my experience. Almost 2 years and not a single Hoover. They blocked me everywhere. We’ve even crossed paths in public a few times and nothing. No hoover at all. Their last words were “I can’t have anyone in my life who sees me that way.”

    1) Don't be intimidated. Be confident and self-assured. 2) Record/video them. They usually stop their bad behavior as a result. 3) Don't seek validation. 4) Once people show you who they are, believe it. Avoid and distance yourself from them. 5) Stop caring about what others think. Self-worth comes from within, not from them. 6) Focus on yourself. Continue growing and achieving to become the best version of yourself. Leave them far behind.

I noticed that when I stood up for myself my ex tried to gaslight me one last time by saying I had issues and since I already broke up with him he tried to flip it and break up with me. There was no way I was going through the trauma bond part again. I had already decided months ahead that when I was ready to walk away it's what I was going to do.

Could you do a video about the danger of a “sovereign citizen” narcissist? These covert narcissists pretend to be so entitled that our laws don’t apply to them. My Mom is a SovCit and she also thinks earth is flat (which would require gravity to not exist), 5g cellular is radioactive, and she thinks aircraft contrails are “chem trails”. We have been estranged for years. This is a very desperate unsuccessful type of covert.

Put up your boundaries right away. While things are friendly and smiling, early on. I like to make opportunity to say things like: "I wouldn't have a joint bank account with GOD much less another human." And "no one drives my car but me." I used to have a sign over my living room door that said HOUSE RULES: 1. If you don't like, you can leave. 2. If I don't like it, you WILL leave." And a good device that has helped me a lot, is the question: "why would I do that?" Then wait for an answer. After they answer, ask, "but what's in it for ME? Why would I do that?" And follow up the next answer with, "Oh, well...I won't be doing that."
