How do you deal with the bumpy texture of watercolor paper? It seems like you remove the background of your artwork. But how about artwork with loose edges?

Why 300dpi ? Doesnt better is 600 od 1200?

Hello, I don't know if you can answer me... Right now, I'm struggling to scan very pale colors, as they won't even show up on the scans I make... With that in mind, I can't ajust it on photoshop, since they're not even there in the first place :C Is this a common this among watercolor painter ? Should I ajust my artstyle and paintings so I make them more vivid and vibrant?

Your software is applying automatic contrast correction and over-exposing light shades. You need to find a scanning option that will leave the scan unedited. Or possibly download a different scanning program if you can't find said option in the drivers you're using.
