I love your videos. I’m 41 and your videos make me feel young again. They take me back to my art classes in college which I loved. I’m not an art major and don’t believe to be very artsy but loved my Art class and my teacher. I have only worked with acrylics but regardless, I enjoy all your videos. I used to live in Modesto so I am familiar with Half Moon Bay and the Bay Area. I miss it dearly. Please continue posting and inspiring. I am sure many of us truly enjoy it. 🤍

I guess I meant whimsical in the sense that her style is so unique and dreamy... like she has her own art style that really stands out compared to other bullet journal channels (in a good way) if that makes any sense😂
I’m an art person and seeing how you cleaned your room I was like😶 cause my room is never clean there’s always beads and paper scattered about😅

ugh i love seeing this process- the cleaning part is so real, i’ll wake up and there’s supplies everywhere >.
This tutorial is super helpful!! I actually would like to open my own sticker and print Etsy shop and you are such an inspiration for me!!
i've been taking your tips to start my own shop and i just want to thank you. All the information you have shared so far has been very helpful.
Also, that packaging is so cute!!
The packaging is aesthetically eye catching! 😍✨
You inspire me!!! Your videos show a lot of care for those who wish to start a business from showing your vlogging tools, art tools, print works, advice and tips makes me cheered!!! I am working in my shop in future just slow but cannot wait!
Thanks for sharing your process! Camera tip: hold the open body downwards when you're changing lenses. You're less likely to get dust/dirt/hair/whatever is floating around inside the camera and on your mirror and sensor. :)

I've been meaning to create prints and stickers of my art, and your videos have been so helpful! Thank you!!
Wow. That was fantastic ! A complete guide to DTP and answers to all my questions and doubts as to how to digitize my paintings. 👍
Omg, I literally just watched your video about making stickers and saw this in my recommended. Perfect timing :)
Great video. I'm in my early 70's and also sell my artwork on Etsy. But I chose to have a local printer reproduce my prints for me which makes their price higher. I'm definitely going to check into your Canon printer to see if I could fit it in my business for smaller print options. I also have a Canon Eos camera which I love. Thanks for your brilliant video Jenny!
that is so handy to know! I can't wait for your website to open!!!!
A couple of items that can be used for backgrounds while taking pictures that many people don't think of are poster/foam board that has 2 colors (a white side and preferably black, but any darker color will work) which I use to photography my brother's artwork and plain twin size flat sheets (1 black and 1 white) my preference for photographing anything that would benefit from a back drop for merchandise. The sheets are nice because if you don't have a good place to take pictures you can literally drape them over chairs, shower curtain rods, even beds & use pillows if needed to prop something up, etc. I've used all those along with my folding drying rack with the poster board underneath in front of the tub (it's a shower over the tub kind) with a sheet draped over all of it to take pictures. I've done that by the front door & used chairs by the living room window, too. For me those have the best lighting options other than outside.
This was really informative but also relaxing to watch 💖
Super interesting, thanks for doing it. Your enchanted forest is beautiful❤️
Thank you for sharing! Your video was very helpful. I do freelance work and a lot of what you discussed were things that I've done in the past and that I wanted to see if other people did. It was nice to know that some of what I did worked for others, too. Your work is amazing and I wish you continued success! :)
The room and the workplace/studio is dreamy 😍
So obsessed with your videos!!
Been waiting for another video like this one!!!!
This was so helpful! Thank you! So inspiring.✨💛
Jenny is so inspiring!! It is so helpful and interesting to see this process! I am always excited when she posts a new video.Have a wonderful day everyone:) -Meredith Betsey
This was so helpful! I've been thinking of getting back into drawing and I know I'd definitely want to digitize if I like something I make. I always trend to lose physical copies of things 🙈 Thank you for sharing 👍

This was awesome! Thank you for doing this. Printer settings on our Canon are currently a nightmare. Everything is coming out flatter and drab compared to the art. Going to relook at it now!
Love the aesthetic 😊❤️
You have such a beautiful presentation on your product!
Thank you for sharing your experience I love your work it’s so gorgeous!
Hi Jenny! I just wanted you to know that I bought the printer because of this video!! 💕💕💕 best purchase everrrr!

i just new to know this! and i love it, helped me a lot. and ur beautiful!
omg you are so creative 😢😍💯❤️
You are awesome. You give me more confidence to start my online business.
Your room is so cute and aesthetic, and you have so much desk space, like I have the second biggest desk in my house and there’s still not enough space for my stuff, like seriously there’s stuff under my bed, stuffed in my closet and there are 2 big boxes filled with stuff under my table, and it’s still a mess.
Very helpful because most people use photoshop but i love just making it simple and using my iPad. I also love procreate!
Your packaging is so cute!!

If you use Lightroom, you can pay $5 a month for the premium version and you'll be able to edit certain parts at a time. You mentioned it being hard to edit different tones in one picture and that feature helps a lot with things like that. Hope this helps!
Omg your workspace is so magical and calming!! Studio goals haha. XD Wonderful video! Really inspiring and helpful. I'm hoping to get a new printer but alas, almost all of them are sold out at the moment lol ;P
I hope to one day start an Etsy shop just like Jenny 🤞
I love this. Thank you so much 🥰
Calligraphy looks 😍 packaging 👌
This video gave me a great hint to start my art digitalize! Thank you for your essential video:) Do we have an option that both scanner and printer in one device?
so cool. Thanks, learnt alot. Love your Art work too!
I did enjoy this video. You presented it well.🌸
The dulling effect you are seeing is due to the Canon Pixima pro-100 using dye ink which are best on glossy paper (photographer's generally like this). Pigment ink as in the Canon Pixima pro-10 are best for matte and canvas prints but dry matte on glossy paper (Painters and artist generally use to imitate their original media).
I love your videos, they are sweet and highly informative
Fatastic and super helpful video! Thank you! Love your art too!!! Thinking of getting the canon Pixma pro 100 as well! Just saving up! Really want to get into selling my artwork at gigs and events (im a singer songwriter and musician) i think it would be a great idea to sell some art as well! Thanks for sharing your tips! I also love your studio setup- so pretty 🥰
I love you art is so beautiful! Could do an online label hall? Like close ups of what each one looks like. I got the white glossy for inkjet printers and the black likes to smudge even after a day of drying for me. Tips for it would be so helpful!
Yay ! She does it all on floor ! I m so happy, there's someone like me 🤩 (◍•ᴗ•◍)

Good luck to you, love the video so fresh.
Super helpful video 💞
I want to make my own etsy shop thank you for making amazing videos
When I was doing research on buying an inkjet printer, I definitely found that overall the reviews for better color accuracy and printing quality marginally goes to Canon's products, but yeah, the ink costs are a lot more haha. I don't even think Canon has as good of an ink saver option as HP's instant ink subscription or Epson's ecotank options. Unfortunate, but that's the niche they fall in!
1:04 Okay but, I love how she has Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Vinyl 😭💖
Great video!
hi, i loved this video so much! how did you get inspiration and the material for your shipping packaging?
It's still attracting when us artists have messy areas and when actually clean up/organize. Both ways are strangely tasteful it that makes sense lol
Love you ear rings
Haha I keep my Pixma on the floor too! i don't really have any other space to put it in my small room/studio :P
Love ur videos and trying to make my own shop
I'm thinking of starting an etsy shop but I have no idea how to do it so if you could make a video about how you started your etsy shop, how you run it and everything you need to know, it would be very helpful. Love your vids!

If you are thinking get a similar model to these wide format printers, I would suggest reaching out to your friends and family on offering printing services to offset the initial cost in addition to your art business. People whom paint large canvas and photographers like these printers and are sitting right where you are. Leverage that if you can comfortable purchase these. Also the canon ip8720 is comparable to start with at $250 and allows a 13 x 19 max print.

You could always start off by selling originals to save up the money. Of course the equipment to sell prints is going to be expensive, you're selling reproduced works, the least you can do is provide top quality prints.
@rfrprof09
3 жыл бұрын
just get 1 printed at a fedex print store, take a pic of it and promote it - then have it priced 2-10x the price it was to print it at the local store to account for shipping and fees and your profit. Over time you can save to get them printed at home
Jenny, could you film a video about how you get inspired to do your paintings? It would be really helpful

Truly inspiring! I have a question... anyone feel free to comment 😊 how do you manage your time between work, socialising, having your own time, study, uni work and having an small online business? It's been a constant desire and drive to start my own business but just thinking about it makes my mind draw a complete blank of how and where to start and how to balance and manage my time☹ if anyone can provide me some tips, advice or experience that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Hope you are having a cheery day😊💖
Nice, thanks for the best information, please make some video on printers.
Awesome this is great. Did you make those stamps? And what paper are you using for your wrapping? Your style is so nice
I love u!!
Awesome video, thank you! Can you tell me how you describe your art when selling on Etsy? I'm a little confused about the process. Thanks again!
Hello Jenny, i always watched your videos and i'm learning a lot from you, you are very inspirational girl. I would like to ask you how much budget you put for your tech machinery ? is it monthly or annually ?
Thank you Jenny! I wanted to get pixma pro 100 too but was worried about the cost of ink and was wondering about off brand inks. Did you end up liking the off brand ink?
Please come back! I need more videos from you lol
Thank you so much, this was so helpful! Do you think it's better to print yourself rather than use a third party to print and ship products for you?
Hai. Nice video 😊 Have you try art carton paper? (Not glossy or matte) i think thag would be nice for your painting arts, with a little texture on the paper
Hello! Amazing video! Do you do your paintings on canvas itself or watercolor thick type paper?
Idk why this have 4 dislike there’s nothing wrong about this video? Btw luv her🤩❤️
hi, are you using dye inks for your prints? will it be more expensive using pigment inks? i like your art style, keep it up.
Thank you so much for sharing this, just have two questions, why don't you print directly from your Ipad? Which software do you use to open and adjust the painting size? Thanks ahead!
Where did you get the pretty things inside stamp? It's so cute!
Cute❤️ what kinda of paper do you use to paint on before doing the prints? The one your trying to take a picture of? Just wondering cus I was thinking of making prints of my own art
How do you make sure it prints out in the right size, like a standard 8x10 or 4x6 etc?
Ummm I have a question is it ok to use the canon printer/scanner to print out your art, or would it be better to use to separate ones? I’m now becoming an artist so I wanna make sure I’ve got things covered!
How do you keep your glossy prints from smearing? I am having some troubles.
thanks so much for this video! Is the pro version of the ipad necessary --- will an ipad air work fine for this?
Thank you for the great video! Just wanted to ask one question. I want to scan some illustrations for a book and I'm not sure what kind of scanner would be for it. Should it be something specific for a nice quality?
thanks! I have a small size of painting on paper. If I use a camera, there is a glare. the scanner is fine without glare? Should I use a laser or inkjet printer?
is there a way to better determine how to adjust colors when printing? ie, you said sometimes on the off brand printer color, the orange come off as red so turn the magenta down..... why??? lololol thanks
Great video. There seems to be a lot of steps to get what you need and I imagine it took some time for experimentation to tweak your settings. But given the high cost of the materials and your time, do you actually make a profit?
if your aving coplor discrepency wit the screnn and prints calibrate the monitor and use the right icc paper for the paper your using i ave the same printer and dont ave this problem becaus i use a color pasport to calibrate for the camera thane monitor is calibrated and i am using the right icc profile for the paper than i user the prugin in light room (print studio pro ) that let you soft prouf your print mening it swoos your a print simulation that takes into account the icc profile and paper seting
Such a random question but where did you get that gold moon phase jewelry hanger on your wall above your plant?
Very interesting video 😊 As a pro photographer (with a Bachelor of Art in photo) I had classes on photo editing (obviously) but also printing. If you're printing a lot, maybe you should look into color profils. To create a good process, you have to harmonized all the color profiles (screens, photo files, printer and paper). If you retouch your file with a profil made for print (and not digital), wich match your printer and your different type of paper ... It's going to be SOOOOOOOO much easier to print with the right colors ! It's a long thing to do, you have to learn a lot. But if you do it once, you'll gonna save so much time after (but I know it's a scary thing to do 😂).
