Russian alphabet was created from Greeks, Jewish and Copts, that is source of questions. Remember russian symbols: A is A but like in Lingva Latina Б is B В is V Г is G Д is D E is soft E (like dEmand) Ё is Yo Ж is Zh З is Z И is Ee Й is Y К is only K Л is L М is M Н is N O is O П is P Р is R С is S only T - T У is Uh Ф is F Х is H Ц is Ts Ч is Ch Ш is Sh Щ is soft Sh Ъ and Ь are symbols of hard and soft pronounce of previous consonant Ы is hard pronounce of I, but that is hardest symbol. Э is hard E (like Enough) Ю is You Я is Ya

This is actually the best youtube video for the Russian alphabet. Many others have tried - and some of them valiantly. But they all either go off into the weeds or go off the rails or otherwise just make things things more difficult than they need to be. The one thing that would make this even better would be to have the names of the letters spelled out in Cyrillic (like мягкий знак instead of, or in addition to, the romanization: MYAG-kiy-znak).
