RUSSIAN ALPHABET (slow pronunciation)

ABOUT
Learning Russian is not easy, that's why we created the Russian Level 1 channel. It's full of study resources created for beginner students of the Russian language. All Russian words and phrases in our lessons are translated into English and transliterated into Latin characters. They are repeated two to three times in both slow and fast Russian so that you can clearly hear the correct pronunciation. You'll be able to learn Russian with Russian Level 1 even if you're a complete beginner!

    And what are the vowels?😮 And what about the consonants?🤔 Can you please put'em separated from each other? I can't do it by myself. However, i can notice them more clearly when they're working as syllables: "па, пэ, пи, по, пу." Counsidence, we have in spanish "pa, pe, pi, po, pu." All the spanish vowels are "a, e, i, o, u."😅

    Й would be closer sounding to ee, it's hard to explain as it's a prolongation with a short cutoff of и Ь is a symbol for a softening of the syllable, not a standalone sound. Ъ is a symbol for the hardening/ firming of a syllable, not a standalone sound.

    It's a different sound from и but it's more a modified version of it rather than a standalone letter. The same goes for the symbols ь and ъ. They are assignments to syllables rather than individual-sounding letters.
