Hello! This video shows you how to make diy shrimp egg tumbler(incubator) and saving of my dead shrimp's eggs and hatching them.
Surprisingly, this diy works 💯 as you can see in the video how some eggs of my dead red cherry shrimp hatched at the last in this simple homemade diy aquarium fish/shrimp egg incubator (tumbler)

You can make this simple diy shrimp/fish egg tumbler at your home for $=0 or at very minimal cost.
Required components: (used in this video)
1.old thin tiny pored cloth
Alternative
fish tank net
2.aquarium fish tank suction cup (used for heaters & aquarium submersible lights)
3.superglue
4.razor blade
5.transparent pipe aquarium (best use transparent acrylic aquarium pipe)
How it works:
(Simple explanation)
The version I have made works with the help of aquarium air pump, air bubbles from air stone keeps the shrimp eggs in movement thus making sure eggs get good supply of oxygen.
The aquarium air stone is kept just below diy shrimp egg tumbler and as the air comes up it passes through tiny pores of fish net and keeps the eggs suspended and oxygenated.
This small diy tool will help you a lot while breeding red cherry shrimp in small or nano aquarium!
Don't worry about the eggs of dead shrimp,just make this $=0 incubator and hatch out the shrimp eggs!
This mini version of shrimp egg incubator best fits into super nano and nano aquariums.

@@LearningsExperienceAquarian Alright. How do you manage to keep KH and PH under control? I am using platinum aqua soil and the PH and KH always crashes down (ph goes to around 6 and kh is always 0) after a water change.

i dont think i see very well, how much are the eggs moving around once you put the airstone under the incubator? are they supposed to move a lot?

Eggs Don't move themselves,so an air stone is used to keep them with good supply of oxygen

@@LearningsExperienceAquarian do you keep a flow valve on it? last time i had them airing under one, it was so turbulent it kept knocking them around wildly 😭 but im not quite sure what i can do to muffle it!

How long once una the tumbler do they take to hatch?

The tumbler doesn't make any changes to hatching time of eggs! It takes asusual.. For eg: the female shrimp carrying eggs may die before 3-5 days pre-hatching of eggs, that time u can collect eggs and use this artificial tumbler to hatch them! OR The female shrimp may die 9-13 days before eggs hatching! Whatever the case the use of tumbler is helpful to save the eggs and hatch them it depends at wat stage You get the eggs from dead shrimp!
