Whew, sanding is a mess. Anybody else out there have experience sanding an old porch? I am still in search for that perfect solution that will last for 50 years and not have to do this every 10 years or so. Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for watching!

Hi, I was just wondering why you took it down to bare wood if you were going back with the same colors. I understand there was some hurricane damage and there were probably some issues we can't see in the video, but it seems like you could have just removed the loose/peeling paint and saved yourself a lot of work. Not trying to be an internet troll, just curious.

Sounds like you have to have a significant amount of money to have so many Sanders for one porch

Jeff, I know you swept up the dust, did you vacuum it ans/or use tack cloth too? I'm about to do this with my 100 years old porch. Thanks.

Hi Carrie, we definitely vacuumed the dust as well. Instead of going the tack cloth route, we wet mopped the entire porch, and that seemed to work pretty well, as long as you are not pressed for time (to let it dry).

Could you share the song that you used here? I liked it very much.

Hi Claudio, glad you like the song. I used "You gotta to save me" - by My My Snake Eyes - featuring Red Revis . I found this song on Epidemic Sound.

I'm really sure you can build it yourself. I did this 2 weeks ago thanks to the Woodglut plans.
