It is possible to change this without taking out the drum. If you have this video on hand, especially if you are just removing it, you can get to it after the front panel comes off. You can also with some jerry rigging use this method to test if it is glowing. Dryers now are such trash, you used to be able to just fold down the bottom panel and most even had a peep hole to check. Samsung builds these things like smartphones and replacing everything is annoying and time consuming so you just buy another one.
Why did they stop making an access door. This is a joke.
