Getting a lot of comments about not being able to get the train moving again once stopped. They have updated the behavior of the ed250 a bit since I've released this video. Make sure the brake is completely released, then reset the throttle all the way back until there's an audible click, then reengage the throttle. It should start moving again.

Very nice job. I purchased the software because I think it has great potential. (I'm also Polish but can't speak a word. 😳) Don't know if you have heard or played "Run8 train simulator v3". These developers should team up. Run8 has all the physics but not so great graphics. Same idea though. Really nice job! Thanks!

hello, nice video :) is there a way to stop the train using only the cruise control ? like in the EN96, you just set the desired speed to 0 and wait for the train to stop and then you apply the brakes, parking brake, etc. Because in the ED250, whenever I set the desired speed to 0, the cruise control stops (and because throttle is not at 0 it starts to accelerate...). Thx :)

Nah, the cruise control disengages when you set it to 0. From my experience you can't use it like in the EN96 and you have to brake manually.

Which train you reccomend for new. Player?

34WE or the EN76. they are identical to each other in how they operate and there is an in game tutorial for the 34WE.

How do you turn a switch clockwise or counter-clockwise, when the mouse is over it?

OK I found that, but now I have a new problem. Once I stop the ED250 train I cannot get it moving again. Brakes are set to running, parking brake is off, but if I push the power level forward, it moves, but the train is not drawing any power. What am I doing wrong?

@@mordsithrahl I would need more info. Only thing i can think of is that it takes time for the pneumatic brakes to charge up, the train will not apply power to the motors until they've completely released

I did all the steps and I can't accelerate the train, it's just going by itself at 3km/h, is this a bug?

If you got it moving then the only thing I can think of is that you have cruise control set to a very low speed. Disable it by pulling all the way back on the cruise control handle to see if that fixes it. If not, do you have any lights on the main control panel that are lit up different to what I have at 2:10?
