I'm glad you took time to show the second 4 ball to the 8 ball shot with less speed you were talking about. that's a trait of a good teacher thanks B.

There's something in most of your videos that never gets brought up but I used it to level up noticeably in cue ball control: the sound your cue makes when it hits the ball. In the pleasures of small motions, they talk about creating a feed forward image for the shot and include as much information as possible. I was watching one of your videos with headphones and that sound was just so clear, and it occurred to me to add the sound of the cue hitting the cue ball to my feed forward image. I basically just did a bunch of practise shots saying to myself "if the sound of the cue ball is louder than the sound of the cue itself, you hit it too hard. Within half an hour of practise I was getting position in 4 inch circles. Okay, fine, 6 inch circles but it was a big improvement lol.

I like that you don't edit out shots that aren't perfect and require additional problem solving , makes for useful "real-life" examples. Question, if you have not already, would you consider doing a video on "the box drill"? I have seen several videos out there, but thinking we could all benefit from having you work through it for us.

I will definitely consider it - , but my videos are made pretty far in advance so it may be a while before you see it. My next 10 videos have been recorded- thanks for watching and thanks for the idea

Say bryan this is off topic but i am a average 5-4 apa and have always played with 1-2 hundred dollar cues. After listening to u for a good while i could never find that one cue that just felt rt. I had a custom cue maker build me one to my needs and wants with all the rt things u need in a cue. Mainly having it center balanced to how i shoot and my game has went up a lot better overall. Everything u have said is so true about a cue. Only thing is there is a few knocking me about having a custom cue and just a 4-5 player. I just laughed it off it makes me feel better overall so thats all that counts. Kinda know why u just use black cues now. Lol thanks for the advice and again its helping me as always thanks brother.

Funny thing is the last 2 cues I got were predator thrones. They’re two grand apiece, and they look it - with turquoise inlays, and things like that. But the bottom line is people will often knock you about having nice things, and it usually means they can’t afford it. I’ve never received any of that type of reaction, but I know a number of people who have. It’s funny that the guys that are teasing them are the same ones wearing somebody else’s $200 football jersey or sneakers, yet they could not run to the front door if the building was on fire. Enjoy your cue and tell those people, Bryan said kiss his azz.

That make it take it rule is a amateur league role that very rarely exist in serious pool events. Making a ball on a break does not force you to take a specific suit necessarily - in fact, is considered one of the worst rules found in amateur bars and some leagues.
