A question, is Windows 11 WSL approach suitable to install a build environment for a c++ code I'd like to compile for several targets (windows 64bit, Android) that is usually done on a Linux system? In other words, is WSL a stable and compatible substitute for a dual boot Linux system?

Anyone trying this with windows 10 will need to ensure virtualization is enabled in your bios settings, there are videos that show how to do it.

@@manishbulchandani8306 I'm probably not experienced enough with linux to say but it feels like theres not really any difference, I have been experimenting a little building a Nest JS app with WSL2 and Docker and everything just seems to work with no issues, VS Code integrates very well with WSL2 as well.

@@manishbulchandani8306 Ah ok, we all start somewhere! Good idea to use linux because most applications seem to use linux for deployments. For example KZread is more than likely deployed on linux.

you can do it on your own computer nothing will happen to your pc. its work fine to me

The only thing is... When I am doing the full screen at the end... Then the screen is not visible as you have shown... I can see only the 1/4th part of the screen.... Can anyone help me?

I have installed bash and Ubuntu on Windows so now I can run all linux commands on Windows cmd based on this video BUT I can't run python in cmd when I use bash and I have to exit to original Windows cmd and only then I can run python code or python commands in Windows cmd. "python --version" doesn't return python version when I am in bash and "which python" doesn't return anything etc. How to get rid of -bash: type: python: not found when I am trying to use python through linux commands on windows? Once again Python is installed in Windows and perfectly works. I am just trying to run in through bash - when Windows cmd acts with linux commands. Please advice how to fix it.
