When doing rust. I like to prime black, then re/brown. Then I sponge on the "original " colour. Then I go over with Vallejo rust wash for rustwater stripes. Then I use oure rust pigment and mix with a little paint to make it stick or just drizzle it over wet paint. I use a hot needle to make rust holes and such

Nice result! My vote goes for crawler

I actually have 2 of those bodies myself. One 4 door and one two door. My first Jeep (first vehicle) was a 1987 two door that i bought from the junkyard i was working at. Then i bought a Ford Thunderbird with a 5.0 then i bought a 96 Cherokee with a 3 inch lift and sold the 87. Then i bought a few more vehicles in between. I gave the 96 to a friend and sold the TBird then moved to new york. When i was in New York i bought a 2000 four door, lifted 8 inches and put 35's on it. Winch, roof rack, cut out fender flairs from bushwacker, and mickey tompson classic ll 17". I still currently have the 2000. I bought the bodies to make a RC to look exactly like my first and second cherokee.

It fits the typhon really well actually. The back half looks a bit wonky though.

I’d love to do a patina lexan body for the scx24.

You could use the element gate keeper kit with the trailing arms and then get the element ifs kit so you get the independent fronts so it could be a crawler/pre runner style

I like the way it turned out with the wrinkle effect as well but the shine is too much would you know if a flat clear could go over the glaze to kill the shine but still wrinkle?? Thanks 12:52

If you want to do the paint fade down do a wash mix white paint with thinner to a milk viscosity spray light coats untill you get the fade that you want to create oxidization

@@10thScaleGarage that's what my daily driver is I want to put one on my gen8 but I've heard its doable but the truck is alot easier on the gen8. I almost bought a gen7 just because it had that Cherokee XJ look to it some.
