This was great! A lot of people don't mention how your wolf should be either in a pack or looking to find a partner and start a pack, or say to have unsheathed claws, this is definitely the best tutorial on how to be a wolf I've seen!

It actually makes sense for wolves to be solitary when they are in clan territory. In the books, wolves live in another part of the forest and have only ever been heard by the clans while traveling to the tribe so it would make more sense for a lone wolf to have strayed than a whole pack.

I don’t believe that’s a wolf they were hearing, as the books are set in the uk. Fox’s can howl too so that may be what they are hearing. If it was indeed a wolf, then Erin hunter got the geography a bit wrong. That’s not the first time that’s happened though, since sharptooth is a mountain lion, and they only live in North America and Canada and maybe parts of Europe. And then you realise the books are set in the uk

@@Imscaredthereisyak If wolves weren't seen or known by the warriors then the warriors wouldn't know the word wolf. However, they do know about it and they know what they look like since a cat was named wolfstep because of his appearance. Also, during the journey (not the great journey, the one that the three took part of), the howls would be recognized by the cats if they were coming from foxes because they are common in their territory. It could be dogs but I feel like the writers wanted us to think of wolves. I can't remember if any of the cats knew or were worried that they were wolves though.

I have a theory on wolfstep. So before the clans were established we had the mountain ones, and we don’t know how long they were there and for. In the 1700s and before, Wolves DID live in the uk, so I think that the name “wolf” was passed down for generations.@@forest2727

Tips for bob-cat/lynx roleplayers: 1. Lynxes and bob-cats are solitary hunters..They dont live together(only if a female has kits) 2. Lynxes and bob-cats do have dens sometimes so feel free to look for an unclaimed fox den and make it your home 3. Lynxes dont immediatly attack..They'll first look at the attacker from curiousity and then attack 4. Lynxes play eith their prey before eating it so yeah if you have prey you can toss it around before eating it 5. Lynxes dont often attack cats so dont enter clans just to attack..But they will hunt yard dogs so yeah 6. Lynxes are strong but not unkillable so pls dont powerplay 7.Lynx same like a wolf can take up to 3 cats 8. Lynx can be any color(they can be brown,grey,black and white) 9. Dont talk with cats if you want a realistic rp..Yes even tho their cats lynxes dont meow..They talk by growling...If you wanna talk then talk out of rp(by using "//") 10. Enjoy your roleplay!

Yes, I roleplayed as a black wolf and a she-cat came up and bwgan roleplaying woth me. Eventually i went into their camp and they let me join their clan XD even though i couldnt speak to them, I was a great ’guard wolf’.

Pov: u found a unexp wolf "Uhhh, Wolf in the territory! oh no, i need to warn the leader!" wolf: "Hi food"

Yes!I cannot stress this enough!My main is a nameless Timber Wolf that is still searching for a pack with his Grey Wolf friend!We never actually spoke in dialogue,and would instead chat noises to each other as a “realistic code” it’s always so fun,and one time we actually formed a pack of four!We did end up asking for perms on a patrol to try and maul them,and they agreed. Overall the most realistic roleplaying experience I’ve been in since I’ve played the game!

It’s all about practice! I recommend looking at free morph videos to get inspiration (not directly copying), sometimes that gives me some ideas on how I want to make my morph. I also recommend using real cat references (or in this case, real wolf references) to get a basic idea on coloring and such. You also need to know if you want a more detailed style or a simple one with not many patterns. If you choose detailed, I recommend using Brindle combined with something else. Don’t make the brindle an entirely different color, make it a color similar to your base color. If you’re making fades (darker or lighter colors on the ears, tail, legs, or face) I usually make my brindle the color of the one above it. Let me know if you want more tips!

Also pro-tip: you’d almost have to always be a pup, seeing as a wolf the size of a cat doesn’t make sense, but it’s totally okay if you wanna be a really, really small wolf.

Even more tips!! (Possibly pin?) wolves can be found alone, in dispersal groups of 3 with the same sex, or in large packs usually consisting of eight. Don’t be like those stereotypical people and have ranks in a pack. A wolf pack consists of the breeding pair and offspring, the offspring follow the breeding pair. No alphas, betas, subordinates, nor omegas or deltas. Wolves can be black gene (Kk) gray gene (kk) or in rare cases, genetic black. (KK) wolves who are genetic black usually have more sickness and disease resistance or less resistance. Do not hunt rabbits, squirrels or birds either. Or anything small like those. Wolves prefer larger, bigger ungulate (elk) meals that can feed the whole pack. They rarely go after rabbits and don’t go for anything smaller. Wolves communicate in tail movements, and vocalization. A high tail is a confident tail. A slow high tail wag is confident and aggressive. A low or high fast tail are affectionate and playful. Wolves will not eat cats, dogs, coyotes or any carnivore as they don’t like the taste of carnivores. Hope that helped!

I enjoy roleplaying as a raccoon. my rules for it are: Ask permission from a clan before you take from them. Racoons are the same size as a cat so at most it could take on one cat. If your stealing and you get caugh drop anything you tok and run. Try to only steal at night because raccoons are nocturnal. Raccoons are social creatures. Raccoons aren’t particularly visious so if you ever get seem you don’t have to fight or anything. Try not to eat anything you take instead pic a home and hise it all in your home. Also when steal try to be actually sneeky, you can’t just run in run out.

I loved wolf since grad 4 ❤❤❤❤............but I got boldly because of it..............but I still love wolf now I am in grad 8❤❤❤🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺

I have a Wolf oc who guards the moonstone bc they grew up alone living in the moonstone cave so they kinda got adopted by Starclan and was given a warrior name (Moon’Guard) and defends the moonstone from unworthy leaders, Twolegs, and other things, so like wolf Anubis, I just thought that would be fun

You should do foxes and include the fact that foxes rarely fight even singular cats because they aren’t much bigger and know a cat can hold its own pretty well. Despite this, people play them similar to a wolf and generally are a bit misguided with foxes lol

If you want to learn more about how gray wolves (especially in Yellowstone) work and their lives, I suggest watching the devlogs of a game called WolfQuest! It’s very informational! Adding to this, wolves in Yellowstone usually prefer larger prey such as elk or deer as opposed to smaller ones, and they usually don’t find the taste of coyote, cougar, or any similar predator species that appealing. Do.. you know what retractable means? Dogs can move their claws but they can't "make their claws disappear," to put the phenomena simply.

You could read Survivors (though you probably already heard of it), it’s another series by Erin Hunter so the way it’s written will be similar to Warriors, it’s about dogs/wolves

Remember! If your a wolf pup then I suggest being young warrior size or apprentice size, if you have large warrior use that for a adult and if you don’t have it them warrior is fine (not everyone has that much robux)

Wolves normally prey on animals such as elk or reindeer; most of them don't like eating other predators :3 also, prey such as rabbits or mice are barely a snack for a wolf since a wolf may be about 60 pounds (correct me if I'm wrong) and these prey are about 5 or lower.

I know it's been many months since this video was made, but I want to comment something. The part that states wolves will attack and eat cats, and can take on at least 3, is something that some people don't want to accept.. 1 cat roleplaying assumes they can take on and even kill a wolf, especially if they have 'main character syndrome'. Even though there is quite a big size difference.

ALSO TIP: wolves usually be at the mountain area, near moonstone, so typically the only clan that would actually come in close contact with a wolf would be Shadow Clan Not saying that other clans can't encounter a wolf, as of course loner wolves or smaller packs could be chilling in the big ah caves littered around camps like Thunder Clan, ect, basically all clans have those caves :))
