However, I can tell you this that all bikes will give you the jerk that wish to avoid. It only how you deal with it. Take all the precautions. You may consider a bike which will give a comfortable sitting posture. Straight n upright, e.g. Meteor or Himalayan. You could check them out. You take care of yourself. God Speed!

Here is the YT link which could help your dad. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nKujtqyHl8uecrw.html 3] I really wonder if FZV3 could really be of any help as it would still give him the awkward seating posture which will affect his back. 4] Avenger is a good bike which gives provides an upright seating posture. 5] Advise him to wear the lumber belt which riding such long distance. Hope some of these suggestions work out for your dad's good health. Cheers!

Hello Bharat, Congratulations on your new bike. Avenger being a cruising bike, should have an upright sitting position. Which means the handlebar should be higher n closer to the rider. Ideally, you shouldn't be having back pain. I strongly recommend that you first consult a good doctor and seek his/her advise (about the treatment n seating posture). You could do the mods thereafter. I am sorry, not able to provide any specific help. Cheers!

Hi Utsav, You need to answer what would be the purpose of the bike ... would it be local commuting or part of statement & styling or long distance travelling & touring? This would immediately help you narrow down your choices. Next is your budget. While there is no end to how much you can spend, yet you need to put in a figure. It will further narrow down. Addressing the tail bone will come last as its the customisation to your specific need and it can be done mostly to any bike, provided it meets the above mentioned points. Lastly, you may to like to bear in mind that broader seat would always provide you that extra support and the space for customisation. Hope I am able to answer your question, if you have more, please feel free to write. Cheers! Som

Lumbar belt and seat cushioning won't help u for a long period of time. It's my advise u should go for 2 session of physiotherapy in every week by Experience Physiotherapy Doctor and you can also go for hydrotherapy. I hope these tips will help u. @@WanderingSom Sir I have to give a detailed reply to explain those anatomy physiology and biomechanics of spine. Which is not possible for now. Sure i will explain in deltail sometime. Simple thing i will say now is one should not arrest the 3 dimensional combined movements of a spine that to one particular part that too when in motion with a brace.

Hello Athena, I observed that you are associated to 'preventive health' related field. Which is very good. It's unfortunate that you are not able to explain in detail, however you did mention that the 3D movement of the spice gets restricted if one was to wear the lumbar belt while ride (hope thats what you have been referring to from the beginning). As I had mentioned in my last response, I am no expert in this matter, however when I followed the advise of my doctor / physiotherapist who had treated me for about 3 months when I was diagnosed with 3 degenerated slip discs, it gave the right support while drove long distance or rode one too. Over the last 18 months and 16,000 kms, it has worked for me. At the cost of being repetitive, I am willing to alter / adapt to new method, provided its being shared with me. Trust, the same would help a lot of riders, who avoid riding just because of their back pain. So Athena, I would be grateful if you do share some details in lay man's language. Lastly, I hope you didn't get offended by me asking you for the details. Cheers!

Instead of spending money on customising company seat please get a air seat. Benefits: 1. Removable 2. Can be used on multiple bikes 3. More comfortable than any seat or custom seat. That is a challenge.

True and false: Truth: comfort, usability & removable. False: increases the seat height, slippery when wearing riding gear, doesn't provide back support, and marginal pressure on tail bone. Hello Chirag, thank you for sharing your advise. Really appreciate it. I did use an air seat, and could adjust to it. Hence, I had to give it up. Today I use it only for my pillion. Cheers!
