How to Ride Life’s Waves | Laura Crane

Спорт

Surfer Laura Crane became the first British woman to ride the 60 foot waves of Nazaré in Portugal and describes the experience as ‘what she was put on the planet to do.” It hasn’t been an easy journey though. She explains how various challenges from sepsis to bulimia have given her the strength to face down her fears and trust herself to perform when she really - really - has to. She discusses how her earlier treatment as a young female surfer have made her passionate about the example she sets to the next generation and why all of us could benefit from getting to know and understand our fears instead of battling against them.
