    First bike I ever rode was a cbr 1000. 5 mins in i wiped out 😂 after that it was a Kawasaki 500r I rode that for a year then to a 2003 636. Rode that until I got rear ended and stayed off a bike for about 6 years. After that I got a 250 dual sport after a breakup to clear my head and get back into riding currently in a 2024 636 and loving life. Point is I wish I had started on a 250 because that Cbr was waaay to much for a newbie 😂

    if youve already taken the msf course and understand how bikes work and you have manual transmission experience on cars.. You will 💯% do fine on a 600+.. its more of taking it easy as you stated you would start on low power.. i did the same thing and switched to full power after my 3rd ride.

    Ok so, if you passed the msf course and you absolutely understand how clutch and throttle work. i would say be like how i was and just shoot for the Zx6r. it has a low power mode that you can get used to before going full power. I just dont want to tell you to buy something that may be to powerful for you at the moment. have you ever ridden any other bike before msf course?

  • @streetdreamz8056

    @streetdreamz8056

    25 күн бұрын

    Its going to be tuff at 5'3 the bike can be lowered but not much out of factory. The thing i see shorter people do that i ride with is always make sure when coming to a stop that they are in 1st gear. lean your body to one side of the bike (Preferably your stronger leg) and just 1 leg it.. tip toes i dont think will work at that height to be honest. hope this helps

    When coming to a stop do you hold the clutch and front brake and down shift to first ?

  • @streetdreamz8056

    @streetdreamz8056

    Жыл бұрын

    yes i always down shift to 1st as im coming to a stop then lightly pull in the front brake and clutch. depending on how fast im coming into that stop i may use both front and rear brakes to stop. but be careful with the front brake as its very important not to pull to hard on corners. always try to let you motorcycle engine braking do most of the stopping for you as you downshift then lighly apply brake as needed. its something you get used to after riding a few months. hope this helps🤙🏾
