This guy is very good. All the little details given like in his other videos 'always keep the bike moving' makes all sense once you start riding from being a learner. I recommend you watch and don't assume you know everything and as with motorbikes once you get experience, don't be arrogant but to respect the throttle and value your life and the life of others.
This is very helpful.
Thanks for the video. Starting my MC journey at 37 :)

@@TheRCBiker I've been looking at the KTM Duke 125 or the Yamaha MT-125 - I just like how they look and for a first motorbike (mostly for use in the city) they should be just fine to check if I'll catch the "bike vibe" :D I just hope that due to corona I'll be able to find summer job to afford it :P

CBT booked for Friday. Not sure whether to get a learner bike and muck around on that for a year, or go straight for DAS and buy a proper big bike straight away.
Good stuff
Just brought a ducati 998 time to learn to ride👌
is a lxr125 an okay bike for a beginner?
I'm new to bikes and very interested in doing me cbt why are the brakes separated on bikes not like a car?
Thanks again cbt on 23rd November
Ive Never Driven a MMotorcycle But im Planning to Take Lessons. Trickier Than Driving a Car But Cool Skill to Have.
Notice you do getting off, but don't do getting on? Is there a correct side to mount like horses? Do you hold the clutch or brake for mounting? One of my Theory test questions was exactly this and I got it wrong, even though I passed the test. so looking to my CBT now.
Thankyou 👍👍👍
Can i disengage the engine power when my brake fails

I would really appreciate some advice, please. I’ve been a car driver for 8 years and for a while I’ve been dreaming about motorbikes. I recently had my CBT (125cc), passed it, but I didn’t enjoy riding the bike and now I feel disheartened with the whole subject. I’d never even sat on a motorbike until my CBT, and all of my expectations of how it would be, went out of the window! It all felt unintuitive, I didn’t feel 100% in control at times, even though my instructor said I was doing well. I guess I wasn’t able to enjoy it because I was concentrating so much. Stationary the 125cc bike felt much more heavier than I expected, the dial cluster felt soo far down so I had to take my eyes off of the road when looking at it, the indicators don’t self cancel (I think that’s normal for a lot of bikes). As soon as I got on the bike, my expectations for the future of looking cool on the bike of my dreams and having a great exhaust sound, disappeared, I could have been on a bright pink bike with Barbie stickers on it, I felt like a fish out of water, unnatural. I look at the motorbikes that inspired me to get into it, and I feel genuinely depressed about the whole thing, because I never imagine going through the buying and selling process of different bikes. I know I need to build my experience, but if I’m going to invest in a new motorbike hobby, I don’t want to buy something that I know I’m not going to keep, plus I’m not interested in riding a 125cc because it doesn’t fit the purpose I’m planning to use it for.
@TheRCBiker

You are new to it and whenever we learn new things it’s totally normal to not enjoy it so much, because the “how to ride “ is taking all of your brain capacity therefore not leaving any capacity for enjoyment. Bear with it. The more you ride the more comfortable you will become and the sense of freedom and adrenaline will take over. Trust me 😊 Buy a small ish bike (Ninja 350 perhaps?), take your time and ride safely .
My cbt is in a few hours and I never even sat On a motorcycle before

Korg is that you?
If I’m compleately new. Never had a dad or anything to get me into motorbike riding and don’t have time to go to like a fort bike track to learn to ride where’s the best place I can learn how to. I’m assuming it’s illegal to practice on a quiet back road isn’t it?

Yes, contact a Motorcycle training school :) They will teach you everything you need to know.
May be it'll be easier to understand when actually riding but for me they're so confusing when compared to driving a car
So this is the alternate persona, the actual biker dropping the RC.... Interesting

Im suprised that the first thing that was not covered was Health & Safety which I think it should of been. Got to get the clothing and helmet covered and with regards to helmets to talk about 'Micro Fractures'. Still though as very easy listening and pleasant way to explain things.
Far too much waffle, just get on with it.
