Just had my first lesson on Sunday and loved it. It has ALWAYS been my childhood dream to ride horses and care for them. However, I'm 65 going on 66 on March 25th. But with the will of the Lord Almighty, He will provide a way to learn the necessary skills I need. Love your tutorial and subscribed to your channel. God bless. In my first riding lesson kept holding the reigns kinda long and the excess reigns on my hands kept twisting. Another was the how to start the trot, that the rider has to stand up on /raise yourself up onto the stirrups and sit back on the saddle . Please advise I 'M A BEGINNER DON'T KNOW THE CONCEPT. I don't know how to drive but at least achieve this life long goal through God's Grace. Thank you and take.

I admire your faith. My dream is to ride horses aswell, but with a previous back surgery and the lack of money I don't think I will any time soon. I am only a teenager, so anything could happen between now and the future, but people like you remind me that horse riding is for any age, so thank you :) God bless.

OMG. Thank you for this as I wanted to do for long time, but I thought I was too old at age of 33. I will definitely do it now as it was my childhood dream💓

I just want a horse). I have ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, dreamed of a horse/pony 😭😭😭 lets pray our dreams come true 🙏🙏

After twelve years of leukemia, I'm strong enough to try this. I REALLY appreciate knowing the basics. I took lessons at 11 thru 12 years old...more that a little while ago. For whatever reason, I can't wait to get back on a horse - it helps me get through the rough days. I have a goal! Thank you so much for your videos.

dont have a horse. but i still subbed! great demonstration. it still baffles me how horses understand all these commands and specially when it come to racing the concept of beating others to win
This is very helpful! I learned how to stop when a horse is going to fast thanks because I might need that!
Tucker is so lucky to have such a good horse mom. And you’re lucky to have him.
I have rode horses since i was six years old, but watching because i always want to improve my riding and looking into the basics. Great video with great tips❤️

Your horse is BEAUTIFUL!
I love horses they are one of my favorite animals my dream is to have a barn full of horses also being on a horse and be free I now I know how to ride a horse now thanks for sharing this video
Your channel is growing, I’m really happy because I love your videos! Keep up the great work, and keep being awesome!
Hey thanks for making this video cause I know one day I’m going to start riding horses I hope
I LOVE your videos!! Im going to be training someone to ride soon and these are very informative and I’m suggesting these videos for her!!
I just found your channel. Thank heavens I did. Your instruction is amazing. So, so much better than anything I’ve seen in 5 years of riding videos. I’m going through the rest of your videos as fast as possible. The only thing slowing me down is my cat asking for big stokes and cuddles while I’m watching - I think he likes the horses ☹️
very informative, thanks.
this helped me so much i am teaching my first lesson tomorrow on a horse called drum
Great starter info. Well done video. THANK YOU
Thank you so much I have owned horses for my whole life and haven't ridden in 4 years so I dont remember how to ride very much and I'm going on a trail ride while I'm camping soon so this will be very helpful for me.
Thanks 4 uploading! I’m doing riding lessons after corona... very useful tysm!!
this is so helpful. i haven’t been on a horse since i was about 4 years old. roping or barrel racing has been one of my biggest dreams. i annoy absolutely everybody in my family about how i want to ride & now they’re going to teach me how to rope!
What a wonderful video! Thank you so much for posting!
Your videos are amazing to watch! we love watching and learning from you . Thank you sooooo much.
Oh, thank you so much for this video! I volunteer at a trail riding stable and I was told to use neck reining but I didn't quite understand how to do it. Thank you so much! This has been so helpful!
This was amazing thank you. I would be at my 4th riding lesson right now but my instructor had a family problem so it is later into the week and I am watching so many of your vids because unlike many other equestrians that have a lot of horses you just have tucker and yoshi and you really care about the welfare of them
Thank you! I've been hoping you'd make a video like this! Happy new year!!!

Thanks so much Equine helper I am having my first lesson on Tuesday the 15th 2022 as I am looking to get my first horse :) I have NEVER ridden a horse before yet I am so excited 😆 I used to hate horses but now I love them!! They are huge gentle giants Wild but Tame
This was very helpful and interesting.
I had my first lesson today, it was amazing (im 15 and always wanted to and now im doing it!)
Amazing!
Wonderful instruction for beginners! Thank you.
Very nice to watch. I learned some few tips. Thanks.
Doing a bit of basic in a story I'm working on, I was having trouble with the description since the main character is a beginner. Thank you so much. This was super helpful
Love your video! Had a lesson a year ago which was awful; the lady never explained anything in detail like you do. Now I’m fulfilling my childhood dream in my 40’s and no one is going to stop me. I’ve been a sailing instructor, and have studied teaching too, so I know how to break things down to teach beginners and the riding school I went to at first did nothing of the sort, just plonked me on the oldest, most sleepy horse and just keep telling me I was doing it wrong 🤦🏻♀️ Thank you, thank you, thank you for your channel 🙏🏼🤗🤩 I’m already feeling far more confident about it all and am excited rather than anxious ☺️
Thank you. Great information.
Excellent video
Great simple easy to follow video, thank you.
I am watching this video because I am going to be teaching some students at summer camp this summer. I don't really know what is to advanced for beginners, so this really helps!
Your voice is really soothing and videos are really easy to understand. Keep up the good work
Looks like fun!
Wow this really helped me a lot. An plus today is my first day at a riding camp, so I’ll know a bit more about horses.
thank's for helping.
THIS IS SO HELPFUL
You make it look so easy!
I might be having my first lesson soon I’m so excited
I love riding! It is so fun!!!!!
Love this video, horses are so cute
I started riding in 2018 but unfortunately had to stop in 2019. I am 15 atm and I’m trying to get a job so that I can afford to get into lessons and to afford what I’ll need for the lessons ie) breeches, brushes, helmet. So I’m really just here to try and remember everything that I learned when I was able to ride haha
This is pretty cool
Thank You!😄
I already do horse riding but this tutorial realy helped my friend so much 😊
Thank you so much and It helped me a lot ❤
I’m just here to remember how is to take your ever first lesson. Now I have my own horses and I have been training for 10 years, so these are some good memories
I'm a total horse newb so this was really helpful. Thank you.
Thanks for the video💯👌
I work at a Therapeutic Riding Center and we have to workout the horse. I'm trying to learn to ride so I can start to take over the job of Barn Manager. This video really helped me understand the basics of riding a horse in simple terms and helped me loose my fear of riding almost completely. I was worried about lack of control, but this seems simpler than I've been led to believe it is. I'm not saying horsemanship is easy by any means, but when the basics are taught in this way it really makes a difference.
TYSM got my 3rd lesson 1 week spr helpful xxxxx
This video is so in-depth my trainer told me to get on and make a circle I got told nothing 😂
This was very helpful easy and to the point thankyou 🤙🏼😁

IT WAS SO GOOD!
I had my first lesson on Friday. I wish they tought me more like the one way stop but oh still loved it.
I have always wanted to ride a horse, this video helped me a lot when I took my riding lesson. I loooovvveeee horses 🐎
I had my first and hopefully not last riding lesson with my daughter.. We both trotted and I was so impressed with her, she's 5 :) the man walked us for a while and the instructor said she was so impressed with me and my technique, I was allowed to ride along without the walker.... I also apparently was doing something with the horse that people in dressage do which again the instructor was impressed with lol... The best joint bday present ever
I start lessons soon, I hope I will remember these tips!
U HELPED ME THANKSS
You make it look so easy
i have my first riding lesson tomorrow so this will help me out a lot! will send an update on how it went :)
Had my first experience thank u so much this really helped😊
I had a riding lesson yesterday and I rode Nena the friesian! It was sort of a rollercoaster because she moves so big, but we jumped and she’s great at jumping even though she’s a friesian! And I cantered even though it was very scary as I’ve fallen off twice this month. I’m looking forward to next week, I hope we go into the woods!

Thanks for teaching both ways to control the reigns bc I ride English but for my horse camp I needed western riding

This is so nice, my father had horses and tried to teach me how to ride or I was useless or I wasn't fast enough to learn and he give up on me so, he was like that, you had to learn things at the first try, anyways I always wanted to learn because I never could do it fully. Greetings from Spain.
very nice to see you and your horse riding incuding your narration. it was my hobby when i was child, thereafter, study than i coudn't able to do anything. thanks. god bless you. i am from dhaka, bangladesh, south asia.
