when i was still small my parents never encouraged me to ride a bike. Now that im 17 they force me to learn how to learn how to ride a bike. Its quite embarrassing seeing my old dad teaching his *17* year old son who is taller and bulkier than him. bruh... seeing little kids riding their bikes laughing at me struggling is quite embarrassing but i will learn dont give up.

Here’s a tip: pressure the handle to where the opposite side you’re gonna fall, I do this and it’s surprisingly easier!

Yes, that was my mistake when i was learning.

Thank you, teaching myself to ride a bike. Some of these things I have been doing sitting on the bike and gliding with one foot on the pedal.. it really does help. Next issue is going around a corner..

My father bought me a cycle 4-5 yrs ago when all kids were learning from small one I was learning from a big one , my father used to teach me I learnt half and not fully at that time and my father got busy in his job so he said you learned it just go outside and try to ride it alone then you will have confidence in yourself but I never went alone and now my family and friends tease me bcz I have a cycle and don't know how to ride, the more they teased the more I got afraid and now I hate cycles but I want to learn it now not bcz I want them to know I am not a loser but this time I am promising myself that I will not repeat my past mistakes and will not wait for anyone to teach me , I will learn it myself in the ground and will grow my confidence

Try adjusting the seat, if you can rest your foot on the ground fully bent, that's the right height.

you either get a new one by exchanging it if some bike store wants to trade... or you can lower your seat which is a better idea if you can
