Absolutely!

Just a friendly tip. I didn't see it in the comments anywhere. Don't run a hot mug under cold water. If it doesn't cause the mug to crack and break instantly, it will still compromise the structural integrity of the mug, and start to develop cracks everywhere. Also, if the mug is extremely hot, coming into contact with cold water can cause it to explode. Be safe.

Same applies for oven bake clay.

Question I was told you shouldn’t use your oven for sublimation if you are using it for cooking. If this is not true this is a game changer. Thanks for your videos. I tried the first one and it didn’t work for me. I just sublimated over with black to start new

Only if you’re not cooking in it. I don’t sublimate in it at all but used it to remove it and didn’t think about it. I had to clean it out. I have a small oven and mug press I use to sublimate

If you put food in it, don't put sublimation in it. The gasses are toxic and don't go away.

Could you use acetone after this ?

I think sublimation comes off with acetone... if you do that, will the mug allow a second sublimation or maybe not because the acetone stips off the treatment on the mug that makes sublimation possible?

@@Fancylooks another option is to buy a nonsublimation printer and convert it into a sublimation printer. I did this with my EPSON WF7720 and i havent had many issues. But be warned....putting sub inks in it will void the warrantee.

Just a concern about putting it in the oven that you will be cooking in. Is it still giving off harmful gases?

I use my small oven for strictly sublimation. The large one that was the only time I used it to burn off then cleaned out the oven. It’s fine.

I paint polyurethane over my mugs it re coats them again to sublimate. Thanks for the video x

It might be the ink. Run a check on your print head nozzle. There should be no broken lines on the test sheet.

How you did the photo image

Is that normal A4 paper ? I mean can we use a4 papers ?? Or is that a special paper for sublimation?

You're not supposed burn off those in your household oven, because of the chemicals. This will contaminate your food.

I used alcohol to remove the water slide.

Don’t put hot mugs on your cutting mat, it might warp or melt.

vinegar did nothing for me

I actually accidentally scrubbed a water slide off which had not been baked.

@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 I tried to bake on my water slide, but the oven burned it. The second time, I didn't bake-- but I did Mod Podge the heck out of it. Will it still be OK?

Never use any appliance that you cook your food in its very dangerous!!

This was very old and No i don't use my regular oven at all for sublimation. I cleaned it and moved since then.
