No, no need to un-align the arrows.

It has been a while since I used my weed eater and I forgot how to restring it. After digging around with it for about 45 minutes I found this video and immediately wanted to just throw the weed eater across the yard😂

Try this video (kzread.info/dash/bejne/p4KM1rGfns7bY5c.html). It's the solution to when it's impossible to open the head on these things. Tons of people have had the same problem, including me. But it can be fixed.

That 40v hart looks nothing like my 40v hart....

Tried at least 30 times to put the string through.It dont work.Piece of crap. The cheaper version is much worse.

Yeah, it can be a pain. The best way to get the string thru is using as straight a piece of string as possible. The string wants to curl up as soon as it goes in the hole and, because of that, it turns away from the inside hole it needs to go thru.

There no hole in the center piece (spool) for the line to go straight through as shown in your video.
