I’m a 71 year old female. I’m the original owner of a 2004 Honda Accord with only 61K miles. Last evening I was positive my headlights weren’t working. There were areas of my route I had to use high beams. When I got home, I discovered they were working but the lens were so cloudy very little light was getting through. I texted some male friends and said they can be cleaned for $100-300. I discovered your video! I have the Mr Clean magic erasers. I just used a couple days ago to clean the white edge of my tennis shoes. I will buy the spray protectant and clean ASAP. Thank you for your excellent tutorial. I have been able to diagnose and fix several problems myself by watching Utube videos. I will let you know how my application goes. Thank you from Dallas

Use a small foam pad on a drill instead of a toothbrush, and you will get much better results. Then put a coat of wax on it and buff it out. When you've done that, use a nano wax product of your choice on the headlights, and follow up with a clean foam pad and you will have the best looking headlights around. Good luck with your restoration project, take care, and stay safe.

I wouldn't know what kind to get though. Are they all the same? I miss my late husband 😒 he took care of all these kinds of things. Just get a turtle wax restoration kit and put a lot of clear coating on after your done. The grit paper sands off all of the oxidation and the clear coat protects it from the sun for atleast a year. After any of these in this video you can expect oxidation after 3-6 months. That's why the kit is worth 20$.

Very good tips. Never knew about the baking soda and peroxide. I always did the wet sanding and compound. Also, never knew about the clear coat after it. I always just waxed it afterwards to give it an extra layer of protection. It usually lasted about 6 months or so, but i can see that the clear coat would give me a couple years depending on whether i park outside or in a garage. Good info and tips.

Great Video! I am going to try this on my husband's Car since the lights have clouded over. I use the Magic Eraser on my car a lot. It gets all the black marks off of it and scratches beneath my door handles. It also...... rubs out significant scratches and scrapes. My husband scrapes up his car all the time on the front bumpers. The eraser got rid of 90 percent of the scratch last time. He couldn't believe it when I showed him.
