I know I say "ON OFF ON OFF ON OFF" the second time when it's really the key turning OFF-ON, etc. Just follow what my brake foot and key are doing. This is also how you program your Tire Pressure Monitoring System - TPMS if you install a new set of sensors or new wheels that have sensors installed. This is a 2008 2009 Ford Taurus X. But this probably works for many other years and models of Ford Lincoln Mercury. Other than this year, make & model, I do not know if it will work for your car. What is this doing exactly? Disabling the sensors ? Or just resetting them? Will the sensors turn on whenever there is a tire pressure issue?

@@bryandiaz4734 ???? You are programming them. Nothing about "disabling". It's programming them just like the Dealership would (for a fraction of the price). Just follow the video. Tells you everything about it.

@@bryandiaz4734 These sensors are constantly monitoring tire pressure. But if you install new wheels with new TPMS valve stems, or if you killed your car's computer (or whatever), sometimes you have to reprogram the TPMS system. That's all this is about.

Same issue with wife’s 2011 Lincoln MKX. THe sensors I see are like 5$ each. But will check out device and how to do this with a push remote start.

Doesn't matter. But for some vehicles, they recommend putting 50psi in each tire before beginning programming.

Battery in the transponder INSIDE the tire is no longer transmitting. 2008/2009/ Ford or Mercury. Very early TPMS. How to locate which wheel is no,longer transmitting?

Most of these you can't easily replace the battery unless you have special equipment. Might as well replace them all. They will soon need it anyway.

I bought this and it only shows the tires air pressure on a 2008 ford explorer

Do you know if this will work for a 2005 ford explorer? When i click the link it says will not fit for my vehicle, but ive bought things for my car and it worked even when it says it wouldnt.

i never heard of this fault light after 60 years of driving cars until i had my tires rotated today and it happened to have went on just after i left the mechanic. Is there something i need to tell them to get the problem resolved?

My senor fault light is on. I’ve had my air pressure adjusted. It’s still on. I have a fire focus 2010. It’s just the car I use for work.
