In this video we'll talk about The transmission control module, otherwise known as the transmission shift solenoid and how its a part of the system that controls shift points on an automatic transmission.
If your Chevy is suffering from erratic shifting or failure to change gears, it might be time to change the TCM. Before you do that, you should first try resetting it and checking if that solved the problem.

2003 cuburban 5.3 l 4wd at dealer now. has S! and S2 solenoid faults as well as torque converter codes- has remain trans and codes wont clear . any input?

Bad ground wire ..cheak one between block and hood
I've replaced all soluniods and now I've only got revers gear .. I feel it trying to do it's thing when I put it in drive but nothing happens only feel the initial shift

Who cares about pictures. Description was accurate. Fixed my problem. Plus. What kind of adult complains about no pictures in their story😂😂😂😂
Damn I'm glad I own a Ford, to reset its TCM just disconnect the battery, use jumper wire to attach the cables, do not let the cable touch the battery. Wait 30min, capacitors are drained, reconnect the battery, start the car, 15min later idle is relearned, easy.GM engineers must have been drunk when they thought of endless ideas to reset the TCM.

U can do the same thing on a Duramax lmao. But easier. Just disconnect the battery’s and let it sit for a while preferably 20-30 min and then hook back up and it’s reset.
