What does this reset do for the nitro jato? Prevent speed wobble ? Reset servo ? Steering servo?

sweet looks like it works for the traxxas slash 1/16 upgrading to a TQi radio and TQi TSM receiver for much greater distance, multi function an 70/30 forward/reverse output

I’ll ask even though it seems no one is getting any answers, I read that with the Bluetooth module installed, it’s able to correspond with 30 different cars. So if I have a Revo and a Jato, add the Bluetooth module, will I need an additional radio? Or just two receivers? And always leave one off while driving the other? Anyone? Anyone?

Hi, I’ve got a TQI radio on bandit vxl and after about 8 months i opened and when I run the required 2 updates with android pie - never comblete - never verify and now not working ,it’s impossible to turn it on. I try to change the battery from nimh to lipo , reset but nothing happened. What can I do ? green is blinking !!!!!!!!!!!!! how to reset the update or restore or safe mode ?????

@@pyrosbargrill9675 Yeah good luck with getting an answer bud I asked this question 9 months ago. I ended up just buying a different radio/reciever. FlySky GT5. $80 for radio and one receiver. Not only is it cheaper than Traxxas TQI initially. Additional receivers are half the cost and it has more channels and more options. Comes with adjustable gyro that you can adjust steering and throttle independently of each other on the gyro along with adjustable ABS braking. And all the other normal endpoint adjustments and dual rate features. Can be run off of 4 double a or 2S LiPo battery also.

Followed steps exactly and it did not fix the reversed throttle problem, any help? ( I have a Traxxas X Maxx , Snap On edition )

I have done what the video says for my XMaxx 8s, but now the car is messed up even more than before. I was messing with the Multi-function knob, and messed some programing up. So i did the factory reset on the controller, and now both throttle and steering rarely respond. Help.

I have the 4 channel TQi TSM OBA ... I'm having issues...soon as I apply ANY throttle it causes the servo to turn right and doesn't recenter ...in reverse it works properly... I've chosen to use your products in my one of a kind RC but it's causing me some serious headaches!!!! Please help me out 🙏🙏

Sounds related to the TSM. Change your multifunction knob to TSM and then turn the knob to 0.

Mine started today with the red blinking on the remote I tired reseting it

Hey traxxas support I just did it for my slash 4x4 and the light when green for a second and then started to blink red. When I go to drive the slash it is fine for about 5-7 min but them the radio stars blinking red and I then have no control over the car I don't know what's going on

vxlspace I actually found out it was because of the battery, it was a bad battery and whenever the esc went to pull power when full throttle it would overload it and trip a cut off, once I got a new battery my problem went away

I haven't used my TQ1 radio with my Rustler XVL for over a year. I cannot get it into Sport Mode. I set it there, but the speed is half-speed, the same as it is when I select option 3--three blinks. How can I get it back to full speed (sport mode option 1?)

Press and hold power ez start bottom them start solid red light and then blink once release the bottom. That's sport mode. You can do it with controller off also. Good luck .

I was having problems with my Maxx not responding after a few minutes of use. Charger the battery and now my transmitter is not turning on (no green light) and I’ve already replaced the batteries. Obviously the car now isn’t responding at all. Help?

Give this a try: Start with everything turned on (Transmitter and vehicle). Hold menu for 3 seconds and then let go. Press menu once, then set 7 times. You should have 8 red blinks that repeat. Press set one time. The light will blink green rapidly followed by blinking red again. Hold menu for 3 seconds. The multi function knob is now set to TSM adjustment. Set it to about the “9 o’clock’’ position to start with and adjust as needed. Going further right than “12 o’clock” will probably result in high speed steering wobble because it’s set too high. Or call us at 1-888-TRAXXAS or email support@traxxas.com and we will be happy to assist you!

Traxxas please!! When entering the menu of adjustment of the radio it just died, out of nowhere ... channel 1 and channel 2 completely inoperative ... channels 3,4e5 work ... what can be done ???? I've tried everything, reset the radio through the buttons and even added a bluetooth module to try to solve and nothing happens .. what can you do to help me? olá amigos. O suporte da traxxas (suporte do site, porque esse aqui é um fiasco!!) me atendeu de forma muito rápida, ainda no mesmo dia. me passaram as seguintes instruções e resolveu o problema. segue o procedimento para o rádio do modelo trx-4: Next reset your transmitter to its factory default settings. This procedure is different from the one in your Owner's Manual. Start with radio turned off. Hold both menu and set. Turn radio on Release menu and set slow red blinking light Hold menu and set till light changes to green blink Release menu and set While holding steering at full left, press set. While holding steering at full right, press set. Light changes back to red blink While holding full throttle press set. While holding full breaks, press set. Light should now be solid green, factory endpoints reset has been finished.

Hm. There's no response when I hold the "set" button for 3 seconds... Doesn't start rocking or anything ... Any advice?

Does anyone know why my Traxxas Rustlers front wheels jump slightly to the right when i let go of the controls on the remote. How do i correct this problem. The car continues to drift to the right as i accelerate, even after i adjust the steering trim.

This sounds like the TSM on your car is turned up to high. Try turning TSM down some and see if that helps. TSM stands for ‘Traxxas Stability Management’. This function will detect movement in your vehicle and will help stabilize the vehicle during fast straightaways, acceleration, turns, and during braking. i have tried this 3 times for my TRX-4 with no luck. The TRX 4 is Not listed in this video so i used the Summit wethod as it was the closest design with 4 servos and the same 4 channel remote. please help thanks.
