Great video. Do have a follow-up question. My Tq receiver has left, right and forward, but reverse is just a brake no movement.Would like full reverse so i can back away from objects. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What if suddenly only the steering works? There si no movment forward or backwards :( there are no damaged components. Could the remote be broken?

My throttle is moving steering?got new blue esc tsky 120a and lost all movement in motor no throttle been trying to setup codes but can't

If your throttle is moving the steering that means that you have your steering servo in port 2 (the throttle slot) and your throttle in one of the other slots. Try rearranging the plugs take the plug out of the ch2 and move it to one of the open ch1 slots. There are 2 ch1 slots in a Traxxas receiver so pay attention to the numbering when you move the throttle back to the ch2 slot.

Do you know of a way to adjust steering endpoints on the TQ transmitter? I have a trx4 sport

Sadly I do not know of any way to adjust end points on the TQ radio. The set button is used to reverse the servo direction.

You might try recalibrating the esc. I do have several videos for different brand speed controllers.

Sadly there is not a way to do that in this radio.

I got solid green, but still nothing

This is the 3rd video of your's I've tried watching and the audio is off by about 10 seconds from the video. Very confusing to try and follow along.

I didn’t learn shit and this chuck of junk you call a spartan stinks just as bad as a room full dudes farting! I’ve taken it out of packaging, carefully set the batteries for balance charging 3 or 4 hours later all good batteries are fully charged, so I’ve headed down to local lagoon calm fairly shallow waters , I’ve duck taped the lid firmly down because I know one flip and the whole boat will take on 15 litres of water with just that lose lid with one clip alone to seal it ,(what a joke) anyway oh before hand I’ve trimmed left and rights to be most accurate as possible of course, now I’m on the water and it flys along I’m loving it, every random walker beach goer what have you stop in ore at the ridiculous awesome speed , but soon comes my first hurdle- my trimmings did not no way seem to be accurate and im quickly making whirl pools going round and around in circles, even the seagulls have given up on this very fast brightly coloured sword/flying tuna delicious fishy they’ve confused it as for and have all pissed off now but whatever I ride it off as my in experience figuring I’ll figure it out later the stirring and try my best to navigate this Spartan - I must admit it did give me a little hard on in the beginning but inevitably I flipped the boat in spectacular fashion and even through my duck taped lid down it did still Fuk up with about 20 f###### litres of water, 5 more litres than I previously anticipated but I was quick to retrieve the what was left of my dream spartan because it was already doing crazy poltergeist s### with the transmitter without me touching it, I drained, cleaned rinsed it , dried it, polished it, kissed it etc . I recharged the batteries over night on balance putting it all together the next day it quickly came apparent no sounds were being made, just lights are flicking ?! I’ve been constantly trying to research online more of everything on my issues , related topics and such but I suck I couldn’t figure it out I wanted to open it up the device further but reframed myself on doing so just in case a warranty would definitely be void at this point, I did however learn that the propeller cable had snapped from looking like an erosion issue I have no idea I could of been my doing or neglect it just raised more questions than answers?! One being it was impossible so did I really purchase a all brand new spartan for over eleven hundred bucks, so I ordered the seventy dollar part , meanwhile I’ve called the distributor and told them what issues I’m experiencing to the best and truthful of my knowledge and they asked me if I could bring it down to have a look at, I agreed and half and hour later I was in the retailers hobby shop and yes surprisingly this guy had fixed it , proper sounds and all fully functional aswell explains that a certain area was still damp erosion so quickly pursuing but was reassured with the current evidence before my eyes seeing and hearing good as new with the propeller cable also newly installed was quickly out lived for once I get home and testing it again, no sounds and flickering lights???! Wtf?!! I might note that at the hobby shop he did get it going again with his own personal awesome transmitter radio controller thingy he had of his own. So Fuk I don’t know what to do and it’s a shit exspensive go considering I’ve had it on the water one time !?

@@nickhathaway4617 I totally get it and didn't take any offence. R/C equipment can certainly be frustrating at times and the way I explain things doesn't always work for everyone. I sincerely hope you are able to find help to solve what ever problem is giving you trouble.

Dude hurry up and tell us something we don’t know, like how to fix shit when this and that occur that’s what everyone with a spartan has tuned in your channel for! Dude figuring out how to stir and trim and all that basic childs play bullshit we get it man for example can anyone give a definite truthful sound solution, I’ve thoroughly cleaned and keep my spartan dry and successfully balanced charged the batteries, I plug it all up and should expect to hear the beep beep beep beep than high pitched longer beep sound followed with the light glowing from red to a solid bright green.. and you know pull the trigger watch and hear the propeller spin turn left and right checking everything’s good but of course this doesn’t happen for me anymore in fact what happens it starts off with the beep beep beep beep than instead of a longer higher pitched beep glowing green instead the last beep has a different tone all together like it is doing a half ass effort to just beep and I try moving the flippers left to right nothing happens I can’t trigger the propeller either , the controllers batteries are perfect the green light is on but it’s like paralysed nothing budges but just when you heard the last half ass beep it starts the beeping sequence over again and again like it’s on a never ending loop but switching from last beeps half ass sound to a more noticeable half ass beep sound going back and forth like this with each new sequences. And I’m stumped do not know how to get it going like it was brand new the one and only time I’ve had a go on the water with it! One go 11 hundred bucks and one go it’s already fucked up, I’ve also noticed how bad rapidly fast erosion hits if I’m not on top of that I’ve had to replace one battery because of this on my first use , water came injust slightly and after the twenty minutes battery time I had on the water was enough time for me to get the heck of a surprise when I open the lid and wtf do I see the left battery had swallened up like it has allergies to water.. tell us how to fix shit man in between your monartone boring voice fresh it up with some random epic air time or epic crash or someone unfortunate ball sack accidentally makes a direct contact at high speed gripping on swiftly castradeding his jewels off into the sunset never to be seen sounding and standing the same again!! lol peace yo
