Perfect! Very thankful for your help. The tech that changed the oil for me forgot to reset. You saved me another trip!

Straight to the point and it worked perfectly, thanks so much. Now if you could make the blinking "D" go away as easily...

Any idea how to reset the TPMS for the same CRV? All videos I see show a reset button on the steering wheel but mine does not have it

Try disconnecting the battery for about 3 minutes and connect it back again. It should remove the warning light. Make sure you have your radio code before you do that, because you will have to type it on the radio, otherwise, the radio will not work for you

What if you get extended life oil?

That is a good question. Honda does not allow you to reset the meter to what is already preset in the vehicle. I would not trust the companies that say that the oil will last you up to 10K-20K miles. I would still change the oil every 5K miles or every 6 months (which ever comes first). There are a lot of contaminants that can affect your engine and reduce the life of your engine. The more often you change the oil, the less time those contaminants spend in your engine and the better it will be in the long run for your car. I personally use Mobil 1 Extended performance because of the triple action additives that it claims it has, but not for the 20K miles it promises.
