Hi everyone! Based on previous feedback, people seem to enjoy videos that are short and straight to the point. I'm experimenting with a very short video this time to see how it's received. If people like this format then I might consider making more ultra-short videos like this, to cover basic topics. That will enable me to make more videos, as it obviously takes far more time to make a long video vs a short one. Of course, some topics can't be explained in 2 minutes and will require more time, so in any case, there will be a balance. Some short and some longer videos, depending on the topic. I realize that some times people get stuck while working on something, and they go to KZread in order to figure it out ASAP, so that they can get back to work, and int hat case a short video might be just what they need. So what did you think of this video format? Too short? Just long enough? Any additional information that you felt was left out? Let me know. :)

Bro how to change cursor size in fl studio?

Fl 8 Software issue. I can hear myself fine . But when I hit record it will only record 1 time then it just replays it when I hit play again . I'm trying to record multiple tracks but having trouble can you help me please?

What if i messed up a plugin name file from regedit to remove it completely and deleted a reg other than the plugin name folder. Reinstalling & System restore didn't help coz windows10 doesn't allow auto reg backup now. Fruity Wrapper has been affected it shows empty plugin window when opened and FL doesn't close when trying to open that and another unrelated plugin Antares auto key open with same Wrapper name but empty window. I changed FL folder name and it helped opening Auto Key plugin if i open from the FL icon inside the folder but it doesn't work from desktop icon. I can live without Wrapper but need to fix this coz i think the desktop path has been corrupted for FL. I deleted Izotope vocal doubler registries but this time i went ahead and searched by doubler name and it showed some reg files which were also related with Wrapper, i deleted one or two. Is there a way to fix this? Fix the normal use of FL from desktop?

I reset fl studio 20 to reset my “Cannot crest a file” problem and I still have it...

Is the VST installed that is not the default also deleted? Thanks

bro, if i didnt have the help icon what should i do?

Idk why I can't get out of full screen wen I enter piano roll it's very annoying im trying to use the detached feature to work on multiple screens but I can't drag my window unless I hold the top corner of the piano roll please help I ever refreshed my settings and it is the same

Hi, I've experienced some issues with multiple screens myself. Particularly after changing the "main display" between the monitors. Try this: Go to "view" and then "close all unfocused windows". Then, go to "view" again and then "arrange windows" and then select "into workplace" You can then resize the various windows. You might have to do this a few times, and move them around before everything work as intended. Not sure why this is, but it has worked for me at least. :)

The diagnostic window opens, but an error says that it can't display the webpage, even though I'm connected to the Internet.

I have problems with all cutoff and highpass automations from every effect plugin (including Parametric EQ 2) and 3rd party plugins,also reverb wet/dry level automations.I can't hear automated sounds like leads,chords,bass etc...No sound ! Only are working Gross beat mix level and automation clips from Harmor/GMS and Toxic Biohazard I've also tried with last tweaked-create automation clip but when I automate anything from 3rd party plugins I can't hear automated sounds

Does your installed plugins continue working after reseting ? or you just run to intall them again ?

Plugins are not installed in the fl studio folder by default so any installed plugin won't get deleted. You'll have to go to settings and scan for installed plugins again though. If you've installed any of then to another folder than the default vst folder then you'll also have to type in that folder in the extra search folders. I recommens taking a screenshot or typing down those locations before resetting so that you can type them in again after the reset, and then perform the scan. After that all previous plufins should be available. Shortcuts and favorites will also be gone so you'll have to add those all over too, or copy them before resetting.

Hi, the login information will be the same as before. FL Studio has lifetime free updates so your login should work on every version.

Hard to say, could be a plugin causing it or some kind of corruption during installation. Have you tried reinstalling? If nothing helps then I recommend that you contact Image-Line support

No, they should remain. Regardless, it's always good practice to copy all your projects to a backup folder, preferably to online backup systems, or at least a separate hard drive at least a coupple of times a month. It's no fun if your computer breaks down and you loose everything. :)

does this also reset my plugins because i tried to install new plugins and somehow all of my plugins (even stock plugins) were installed like 10 times and now nothing works so i want to delete everything and reinstall it

This only affect the FL Studio settings. Shouldn't affect any plugins, all though you might have to rescan in order for them to show up after resetting.

i found this video after 10 minutes of trying to figure out why my taskbar is missing. I found this video and received a solution.. I open FL Studio to restart the settings... My taskbar apears out of nowhere... Staring me down. Smiling at me after giving me a 10 minute heart attack.. What did I do differently you may ask?. NOTHING!! So this video didn't and did help me at the same time so I'm gonna say thank you anyway!!!

You're welcome :) There can sometimes be wacky behavior when using multiple screens and such. In that case, playing around with the "view" settings in FL Studio can help fix most problems, by using the bring into focus options, rearrange windows and so on.

It won't delete your files, just the settings, so they might disappear from the browser, but you can always add them again.

No, unless you have stored them in the FL Studio folder. I recommend always storing your projects in a separate folder like c:\my fl studio projects\ or something. This will reset all the settings in FL Studio. It won't delete any plugins. You might have to scan for plugins again after reset though. Make sure to add all the search pats and such before doing so. It can be helpful to go to options and then file first, and take a screenshot so that you can see all the directories added there. You can then reset, add the directories again and scan for plugins again and it should be back to normal. Favorites and such will of course have to be added again manually since you'll be resetting everything to default.

Nothing will be physically deleted, just settings.

It will remove them from the list, so you won't see them in fl studio. It won't delete them though. You'll have to type in the correct vst search folders in file options and then scan again for vsts. Then they'll show up again. Favorites etc will of course also get reset so you'll have to do it again afterwards or copy the favorites presets to another folder and then move them back after the reset.

What about "how to change the look of FL Studio" (if such an option exists)? Adding skins or something, I dunno. Same way I was able to completely transform the look of Android phones with a new theme... I realise I could Google it, but that would negate your glorious channel if we all did that ;)

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll make sure to put that on my list. Unfortunately there's no way to change the FL skin like in the older versions. Hopefully they'll add that feature in the future, but for now we can only change the background image, as well as customize the various buttons and layout :)

It will reset everything to default so you'll have to add all the folders again afterwards in order for them to show up. I assume you have a dedicated folder with samples? Same with vst's. You'll have to add the vst search folder(s) again too, and then scan for new plugins.
