what would you guys charge per square panel if I was only needing to replace about three different squares? One on top, one on the angle and one on the side.

Can you post more videos and explain where to start on the roof and how to do the hip panels

There's many ways to doing the hip roof the way I do it start at the top ice cream down one side straight at the bottom of that I go 90 degrees and I take that screen straight as an arrow and then I go back to the top I'll pull down and that's where the extra screen will pull all the way down to the bottom and then from that corner I'll go back to the end where the 90 finished there's other ways of doing it that's the way I do

Flip the spline to the inside 1/2 turn before rolling. It will roll much easier. It would take me under an hour to screen that roof fully.

do you just lay screen over the long supports and just spline the one side you can reach? Or do you also spline the supports running long ways away from you?

Great video. Does that platform that he's walking on stay ontop of the gutter?? What if the gutter is loose?

Do you guys always sheet the top. Or did you just not show the people how to cut The purlins in?

  • @IrishAnnie

Our insurance adjuster told us it should NOT be sheeted. Each one needs to be splined. If a high wind or tree branch damaged one square, it would be less expensive to replace. Also hurricane winds would take the whole row OUT and you would have less protection until it’s rescreened. In our case after Hurricane Erma, it was 6 months.

@@IrishAnnie Honestly if you wanna save your cage from a hurricane or atleast try to, would be to cut the panels or pull the spline so wind can flow through the cage better bc the screen acts like a sail and will destroy the metal

Don't pull or stretch the spline. It will shrink in the heat. Pro tip...

Screen doesn’t shrink in the heat. If it’s fiberglass it expands in the heat much less than the aluminum frame so the frame pulls it apart. If it’s steel it also expands only half as fast as the aluminum frame. Same results don’t stretch it too tight.

Must cut in after sheeting!🤯 If you don't cut it in, when one panel on top fails they all fail in the same run. What I don't believe is that the guy did this when he knew he was on film. Why would you film yourself ripping people off? 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️(DOHHHHH) If you're in Central Florida you are better off just going with another company. I swear by Sunstate Screening. 🌞

If you were a real pro you would be walking the roof not using walk beams!!!! Lmfao😁😂😀😂😂😂😂 I can do that entire roof and cut it in my self in 3 hours 4 hours max. No walkboards.. All i need is an 8ft ladder to get on the roof. The rest is history. These guys are rookies.
